In reply to: [Hueman] Short “flicker” when loading/refresh the startpageSame problem here. Never noticed it, until a few weeks ago. Flickering occurs when selecting another page.
It seems Firefox is suffering more from this than Safari, and Chrome does not seem to have the problem at all.
All on iMac with macOS 10.15.
Is there an update on this investigation?
Thanks.

In reply to: conventient way to sort Blogroll entries? To go back to the original topic: a bookmark (or link) does not have a parameter to determine it’s sequence order, like you have for pages. You can only sort on the attributes of a bookmark, of which none is a ‘sequence’ number. This would be a nice fix to put in a next WP release.

In reply to: conventient way to sort Blogroll entries? Thanks for the link. I’m almost there (by creating a text widget which calls wp_list_bookmarks).
The only snag is this line in the description of the title_li parameter: If ‘title_li’ is set to null (0) value, no heading is displayed, and the list will not be wrapped with
<ul>, </ul>
tags (be sure to pass the categorize option to 0 [false] to this option takes effect). What I want to achieve is no heading, but I do want the list to be wrapped in
<ul> </ul>
tags for reasons of consistency in look &feel. According to the description above, this can not be achieved.I’ve tried various parameters combination but can not get what I want.
Is there a way to display the bookmarks without title, but wrapped in
<ul> </ul>

In reply to: Change name of ‘Blogroll’ in LightwordThat’s the trick! I did not explictly mamage the widgets, so it used a default list. If I explicitly activate the widgets I need, it works as expected.
Thanks for the pointer!Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Change name of ‘Blogroll’ in LightwordWell, I did just that. If I use theme ChocoTheme, it works: all links are shown under “External Links”.
If I switch to theme Lightword, it does not work: all links are shown under “Blogroll”.
