What do you mean “in Edit CSS/Custom CSS”. You should apply the custom CSS according to https://support.webmandesign.eu/forums/topic/css/

Edit CSS is the menu added by Jetpack (Custom CSS/CSS Stylesheet Editor).

Regarding the inline CSS you see, it was done by the Autoptimize plugin as my old theme do encounter problem when it was not activated. You may check it again now as I already deactivated it.

The vertical lines were gone even without purging Cloudflare cache by using this custom CSS code:

Hi. I am using Cloudflare and Autoptimize plugin and had purged/empty the cache many times but still it doesn’t work. The lines still show even when the browser cache and history were cleared. There are no other caching plugin installed in my setup.

Am I doing it right? I have these lines in Edit CSS/Custom CSS:

Edit: Kindly ignore this ticket about the thumbnail size. The images I had mentioned had height pixels below 640px. It is my fault. Not the theme. I’m sorry.

Again, thanks for the effort you exerted to resolve the thumbnail issue. I saw you Oliver loading my blog homepage many times. ??

2nd edit: It will be quite good feature if the theme can handle images that has lower resolution. I do not know how but it did when the “smaller” thumbnails are not yet regenerated but still the old images align beautifully.

The Custom CSS doesn’t help. The lines still show.

I already replaced the images affected that’s why it isn’t visible now (Since it really distorts the posts list). I will create a test post for you to see. Thanks.

, .is-singular:not(.home) .site-header-widgets

in the .site-header-widgets as the posts and pages do not honor the custom CSS.

Yes, I know but recipes (as this theme seemed to be a recipe book inspired) do not always have short titles. I am not obliging or forcing you (as this is a free theme) but I will be glad if you will introduce the fix soon. ??

I am aware with the recommended image sizes but I find it weird that a cropped version doesn’t utilize all the available pixels of the original image. For example, an image with a 845px height, when cropped, one should expect that it could give a 640px new height (since the original image is larger). But it is not the case, the cropped thumbnail has a lower height px. Maybe it is depending on aspect ratios as the width is consistent on all images at 480px. The dimension stated in the user manual, 480×640 was not followed as the theme produces a thumbnail in a variable height. I hope I explained it clearly. I am not knowledgeable enough if wordpress core is to blame since this is my first time to encounter image dimension issues with a theme.
