Using the right channels WPEC is your Plugin too ??

I don’t get that problem and I’ve made hundreds of sites with each of the WordPress e-Commerce Plugins. I choose WP e-Commerce Plugin because it is the best Plugin for WP developers (mmm so many hooks and filters).

At a guess your issue sounds server related. Hopefully they can fix your issue, on your servers, so that other people with the same server settings and the same version WP e-Commerce Plugin don’t get the same issue you get.

Either way it looks like they are on your side now. Oh and on another positive note I know that they are going to be improving the way they handle templates and they will be maintaining backwards compatibility – you’ve definitely go lots to look forward to ??

This is something you can do in either your presentation settings under currency or in your template files.

I’ve seen this done on the icondock.com website. Which is probably the most beautiful looking WordPress e-Commerce site around.

It works for me – I did have to refresh my permalinks though ??

I wonder if it is a settings issue on your server. Hopefully you and the team get to the bottom of this.

I saw your Tweet last night and it works a charm – this is an awesome Plugin and we’re definitely going to use it for our upcoming WordCamp ??

What I like about it is that as an Event Administrator I can print out an attendee list. What I love about it is that I can generate the name badges for all my attendees within WordPress!!!

Attendee list shortcode + gravatar integration. Genius!

Hi Lee. Must say, like your work!!

Your contributions to the WP e-Commerce Plugin are exceptional. And thus your contributions to the greater WordPress community as a whole are therefore also exceptional.

I support WP e-Commerce because I genuinely believe the Plugin is the best. On top of that though I like the team (I met Dan at WCNYC) and I believe in the open source community growing behind them. I have seen really ugly behavior from other e-Commerce plugin developers (false posts / name calling / flame wars) and this just makes me want to support WP e-Commerce even more.

Blimey I don’t know where that came from. You inspired me! Anyway I’ve looked at your most recent release and I am therefore 99% the issue below is fixed. But just in case here goes.

When you have a really really big sales log (say two years or more of transactions) then your dashboard page grinds to a halt. I’m not a database expert myself but I suspect there is a way to optimize this from happening.

Nice work! Oh and in terms of a killer feature for the Dashboard please add “Most popular products sold”. If this was advanced enough to show trends on a month by month basis that would be amazing.

WP e-Commerce + thematic + Simplecart = an amazing job. I have got this working on a number of test sites.

It is a stunning theme that was made for the WP e-Commerce Plugin. If all you’ve got time to do is pick holes in WP e-Commerce (here as opposed to the instinct forums) you need to find a better hobby.

I would bet my little finger that Chris Wallace is a more experienced theme designer then you – so if it is good enough for Chris then it is certainly good enough for 99% of the WordPress community.
