In reply to: [Quantcast Choice] YSlow Reduce DNS lookups warningsHi @jdelgadoesteban I just deployed a plugin update. Could you retest with the new TCF v2.0 version?

In reply to: [Quantcast Choice] TCF 2.0@ibiza69 I just released an updated TCF v2.0 version of this plugin. In order to use the new TCFv2 version you need to create a free quantcast.com account in order to get a Universal Tag ID (UTID) that can then be added via your plugin dashboard page to easily include Quantcast Choice on your site. I created a video of the process and posted it to vimeo until I can create an article in our help center. This TCFv2 update comes with a lot of additional features including things like CCPA support, automatically pushing consent to the data layer, better IAB and Non-IAB management, theme customization, and more.

In reply to: [Quantcast Choice] Vendor List@samnaun2000 thanks for checking that directory. I will work on a fix for that, and try to get it pushed out by the middle of next week.

In reply to: [Quantcast Choice] Vendor ListHi @samnaun2000,
In the admin when you check different vendors and save are you getting an error message at all, “There was a problem saving the vendor file.”?Do you have the ability to check the “/wp-content/plugins/quantcast-choice/.well-known/” directory to see if there is a pubvendors.json file located there?

In reply to: [Quantcast Choice] Questions about the pluginYes, there is a setting to choose to show the CMP globally or only for EU visitors only.
The different languages are set via the plugin admin interface, and the plugin checks the WPLM language variable and initiates the CMP with those language settings, if the language is not available (as a CMP option) it falls back to the default language. If you are not using WPML, the plugin will attempt check the users default browser language, and if that language is available (as a CMP option) the CMP will initiate with that language, if not available it will fall back to the default.
For the site using Quantcast Choice in Greek, it’s possible they implemented Quantcast Choice using the self-serve option and added the script directly to their codebase. Otherwise they could be using the WP plugin and just filled in Greek text in another language, and set that as the default language, however, there is one field, The initial screen main body text that is a select option list, not a free form text field.

In reply to: [Quantcast Choice] CSSThe important tags have been removed, I cannot guarantee some will not be added back in the future so I would suggest giving your css rules extra depth and adding the important tags on your rules to keep your styling in tact over future changes.

In reply to: [Quantcast Choice] Compatibility with Google Analytics and StatCountersAs long as the vendors are part of the IAB framework we’ll be able to pass a consent signal – the global vendor list can be found here: https://advertisingconsent.eu/transparency-consent-framework-global-vendor-list/. If a plugin (vendor) they’re using is on the IAB framework, they will automatically check for consent before firing. If consent is not given, those plugins should not fire – this is on a per visitor basis.
StatCounter is currently not registered with the the IAB framework
Google released a cookie choices page on their position: https://www.cookiechoices.org/intl/en/ Google not on IAB framework, pushing consent signals stuff onto publishers to figure out and check when consent is given before GA tag fires

In reply to: [Quantcast Choice] Questions about the plugin@papgeo
1. Quantcast choice is 100% free.
2. It does not do a cookie audit, however you have the option (in v1.2.0) to manually select what vendors you want to get consent for.
3. The plugin does support multiple languages, allowing you to set specific display language for English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Unfortunately Greek is not yet an option, but we have plans to continue adding more languages in the future, but I do not have a date when that option will be available.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Quantcast Choice] Privacy Policy@samnaun2000, I just pushed up v1.2.0 which now has the option to add 2 custom links to the initial screen along with allowing html in the vendor and purpose screen body text fields.
