Hey @stevejburge thanks for the update. Unfortunately it is still not fixed in 3.14.6 but we have tracked down the cause to a conflict with Yoast Plugin. If we disable Yoast then Authors works as expected. Seems to be common that Yoast causes conflicts.

ok further update. It seems the post seem to have guest authors for awhile… then they get replaced with the WordPress author. Weird.

Hey! Just an update to this. it seems they display on the front end but not in the ‘Posts’ section of WordPress https://info.orcid.org/the-orcid-de-monitor/ which is workable as its the front end we need but though you may like to know that the authors don’t show in the posts section.

Hi @stevejburge thanks for your speedy response! We have just posted a new post with guest authors and this new version of your plugin seems to have fixed it, thnk you. Obviously this is only one post but we will keep an eye and let you know if we have any further problems.
