This also started happening for us – wondering if there’s a conflict with WP 4.2.4. That’s the only change we implemented yesterday. Posts shared yesterday appeared as expected.
After searching around, I came across this post (https://yoast.com/google-analytics-5/) which contained this comment from Yoast:
To all those asking about custom variables: custom variables were, unfortunately, deprecated by Google. Their “replacement” are custom dimensions and custom metrics, but they didn’t create an API to create those, so you have to do that in the GA Admin. As the whole setup process for those because of that becomes completely convoluted, we decided to not support those in our free plugin. We simply wouldn’t be able to provide the support people will probably need in that process at the scale this would work out to.
Now the good news is: our upcoming premium GA plugin will contain support for them, but it’s not going to be released next week, or next month.
If you really need the data, go back to the old version until we release our premium version… Wish there was a better way but there truly isn’t.
So sounds like those of us that need this feature should turn of Universal Analytics. Just disappointed that I had to go searching to get some kind of explanation. I wouldn’t have upgraded to Universal had I known about this ahead of time.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Orders do not send new order notification emailTHAT worked! (setting the email type to plain text.) Thank you so much for the suggestion!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Orders do not send new order notification emailNope. a rollback to 2.1.6 did not correct things.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Orders do not send new order notification emailAnother clue is that this problem started occurring sometime after April 10, 2014. The last order placed on April 9 DID generate the new order email. An order placed on April 29 and May 1 did NOT generate the new order email.
So I’m wondering if I go BACK to version 2.1.6, maybe that will correct things for me? Worth a try I suppose.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Orders do not send new order notification emailAnd no dice – backed up the plugins folder.
created a new plugins folder & installed a new copy of WooCommerce.
Still no new order emails going. The receipt email comes through just fine.
Tried setting the ‘new order’ email to a completely different one that still resolves to me. Still does not come through.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Orders do not send new order notification emailI can try, but if I place an order from the same email address, I get the receipt email telling me my order is being processed immediately.
I like the fresh WC approach. I’ll have to try that in the morning. Thanks!

In reply to: fatal error on child AND parent themeWell in doing research I’m 99% sure that this is caused by the ‘someone navigating to your url.com/wp-content/themes/twentyten-child/index.php’ cause that’s the only way I can replicate the error. Now to decide if I want to bother filtering that traffic or not (since it’s literally once or twice every couple of days.)
Thanks all!

In reply to: fatal error on child AND parent themeI’d have to do that on our separate test site – let me see if I’m getting the same error there.

In reply to: fatal error on child AND parent themeDrat. took your advice, esmi, on that day & just saw the same error last night. I assume there’s something going on my child theme.
If any of you can think of any other direction to investigate, I’m all ears.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] No Add to cart with variable productsAha! It was the Root Relative plugin that was installed by default by my host. In case anyone else runs into this issue – try turning this off & installing Ruth’s code above.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] No Add to cart with variable productsHey Ruth!
I should’ve mentioned that I tried your solution first, to no avail unfortunately.
