Hello Kim,
Thanks for your message. I have tried to enable the legacy tools, as you describe above. However, I received this error message:-
“There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”
WordPress has provided an error message in the email, as follows:-
“In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, WP Data Access.
First, visit your website (https://dev.bristol-re.co.uk/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://dev.bristol-re.co.uk/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpda_navi) and check for any visible issues.”
The error message below:-
“When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
WordPress version 6.7.1
Active theme: Ephemeris (version 1.5.2)

Please let me know if you need the exact URL of the website host.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,
In addition, I have noticed that when I click on the “Edit” button to make changes to a data record in the new Data Explorer, only a blank window with “Data Explorer” in the top left is displayed. As such, I can only use the old Data Explorer for this purpose.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Code Manager] Error getting administrator credentialsHi Peter,
Thanks for your prompt response, and attention to this issue.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to access the WordPress Dashboard for the site – not from the link in my hosting service, and not from the suggested URLs with the site address with “/admin/”, “/login/” or “/wp-login.php” extensions. I see only the empty page, as before.
If you happen to have any ideas that you can offer quickly, that would be good – but I understand that solving the actual problem is probably your main priority right now!
Thanks again for your help!

Hi Kim,
Thanks for that information. In the “Advanced settings” page, I also found the command to show just one row in the upper table – which was the main issue in this case.
A couple more questions arise in my mind. Firstly, the “Advanced settings” page ( https://wpdataaccess.com/docs/data-tables-advanced-features/advanced-settings/ ) has some examples of the use of JSON, but my understanding is that these are not all of the possibilities. Is there a comprehensive documentation showing all (or most) of the available settings? The general JSON documentation seems to cover several different topics and approaches, but I presume that not all of those are relevant in WPDA.
Secondly, I have only briefly looked at the “Data projects” documentation in WPDA ( https://wpdataaccess.com/docs/data-apps/data-projects/ ), and I am wondering if the creation of a project might be a more suitable approach in this case?
Thanks once again for your prompt and efficient help!

Hallo Kim, Thanks for your prompt response.
The site is at https://ba3.nwframpton.com/ XQBc6oPq
Please select "Search for a route" Enter:- Operator = First Primary town = Leeds Service number = 2 On the next page, click on "Archive Path" On the next page, the upper table has the same number of rows as the lower table, but all are the same (First - 2 - Middleton-Leeds-Roundhay). I want to display just one row in the upper table.
Ideally, I would like to hide the display of the show number of entries, and the pages at bottom right. The second table needs to show all of the rows since these vary. Thanks again for your help. NigelHi Kim,
The issue with “NULL” values is now resolved from my perspective, since I do not want anything to be displayed in the cell if there is no valid data. However, I didn’t make any changes to settings, so I am not sure why the problem arose – the comment about phpMyAdmin was only a suggestion. If there is a specific way to control what is displayed in those circumstances, I guess that would also answer Mihkel’s question.
Thanks again,
Nigel
Hi Kim,
Thanks for your message. Both of the sites in question have version 5.3.15 of WP Data Access. I had seen the notice about version 5.3.9, but I did not experience the problem described.
Thanks again.
Nigel
Hello,
I’m not sure why this has happened, but I deleted and re-created the fields in the plugin, and now the word “NULL” has disappeared from the view in “Data Explorer” – which is the desired effect. Possibly the earlier issue arose because I had created the fields in phpMyAdmin rather than in the plugin.

Hi Kim,
Thanks for your messages, and apologies for not responding earlier.
I have had a quick look at the query this evening, and I suspect that the problem arises because one type of quotation mark is used within a section that is itself bounded by the other type. I still got an error when I tried it tonight in WPDA.
Previously, I had tested the query in phpMyAdmin, and generated the SQL View there. The view itself works correctly in WPDA/WordPress, so that it is not a “show stopper” issue.
Nigel
Hi Kim and Peter,
Thanks for your message and the update. The issue with saving the queries with “CONCAT” entries seems to be resolved, but can you clarify whether empty spaces (to separate the entries in the CONCAT field) always need to be identified by double quotes? I have found that with single quotes (either vertical or angled) I get an error when I try to run the query in the “Query Builder” in WP Data Acceses, although they seem to be acceptable in phpMyAdmin.
Thanks in advance for your help.

In reply to: [W3CSSPress] Remove search bar and number of responsesHello Matteo,
Thanks for your message.
On the “Home” page, there is a “Search” box above the “Home” title; similarly for the page entitled “1. Search – Database (version 2)”, and on that page there is also a message at the bottom of the page which reads ‘0 responses to “1. Search …’; and I have also created a screenshot of a results page which has the message ‘0 responses to “2. Selected route data”‘.
Unfortunately, there seems to be no way for me to attach a screenshot here to demonstrate the problem, which makes this correspondence rather difficult! I’m not sure what WordPress were thinking of there! File uploading is disabled here, and the site I am working on is not public yet, so that an URL is not going to help. Perhaps you know of another route for me to send the screenshots?
Thanks again,
Nigel
Hi Kim,
Thanks – I have applied your second suggestion, and it works perfectly!
