In reply to: Run menu next to header logoWhat I really need to know is can I do this solely in the styles.css or if I have to make changes to header.php
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Run menu next to header logoI have the site on a local host, so it’s not publicly viewable.
I simply want to have a logo space on the left side of the header and the menu on the right, under the search box.
Is this really an unusual modification?

In reply to: Run menu next to header logoOf course I’m editing a child theme, but it’s based on Twenty Eleven
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Run menu next to header logoI should have said, this is specific to the Twenty Eleven theme, so I think this is an appropriate place for it. Is it just a css problem, or would I have to edit header.php?
Hi Tobias,
I tried various things suggested in those links, including adding a .user.ini file and upping certain limits in php.ini. None worked. I contacted my host and he said ” I do not see any errors from the server side that would cause the plugin to act this way. “
Any suggestions at this point?
ThanksI contacted my host. Editing a table in the plugin was hitting the Suhosin limits for the account. The host deployed a custom php.ini to raise those, and it’s working now.
Thanks again
Even with blank files in the root, it won’t detect or overwrite them.
The settings for the uploads are the default, as bh_WP_fan stated above.
My current solution is to create sitemaps using https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ – but this means I’ll have to recreate them manually every time I make a change in the site.
I tried both – recreating the sitemaps in both WP root folder and in public_html with 755 permissions. I reactivated the plugin and it still can’t write the files. It seems to detect the correct files in the WordPress folder, but still reports a problem and won’t write the files.
I used https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ to create sitemaps, which should do for now. I tried to get the plugin to work with these sitemaps, but it wouldn’t overwrite them.
Can anyone offer further guidance to get this plugin working?
I disabled the Facebook Comments for WordPress plugin and cleared the cache and this problem disappeared.
I am getting this same error – “Are you sure you want to do this” with no further functionality. I tried it from Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox with the same results.
Is this an intermittent problem? The form was working fine when I first tested it a week ago.
No reply so I ditched Fast Secure and now use Grunion.
