In reply to: [Polylang] Polylang Flag Icons Not ShowingHi albridi,
I never determined what was causing the conflict. I used the workaround and this solved the problem for me, so I stopped trying to figure it out.

In reply to: [Polylang] Polylang Flag Icons Not ShowingHi Chouby,
I’ve been using Polylang for many years (I really don’t like WPML) for all my websites (some pro and some free version), so I’m very familiar on how to debug it. I’ve tried everything you’ve mentioned above to try to figure out the conflict but with no luck so far.
The “
define( 'PLL_ENCODED_FLAGS', false );
” worked, so for now I’m ok.I will keep trying to find out what is causing this conflict and If I find anything, I will let you know.
Thanks.
Hi,
I use a theme called Landscaper, by QreativeThemes. They have a plugin called “The Landscaper Toolkit”. This is what was causing the problem.
The weird thing is it wasn’t behaving like the rest of the plugins when there’s an update. It wasn’t obvious… there was no bar underneath the plugin informing me that it required an update, nor any notice in the dashboard. I reported this to them.
Thanks.

In reply to: [Polylang] Conflict with Popup Builder PluginJust received this reply from Sygnoos:
“Just wanted to inform you that the issue with the Polylang is solved now.
Just update the plugin to the latest 3.69.3 version.”I haven’t tested it yet.

In reply to: [Polylang] Conflict with Popup Builder PluginThere’s definitely a correlation between the two plugins… although I don’t see why. I’m not seeing anyone using WPML and Popup builder reporting any problems so it’s only when you are using these two plugins.
I reported the problem to Sygnoos and they are investigating.
Hi, I concur with Petrfid.
I have about 10 websites with two languages (English and French) using Polylang. They all stopped working properly after my admin did the updates yesterday.
We thought it was the latest version of Polylang but after extensive testing and debugging… we determined that it was Popup Builder that is causing the problem.
When you update Popup Builder, WordPress completely loses the language settings.
Thank you for looking into this.
