    Hey all, just wanted to update you with my solution.

    In my header.php I had put some HTML info for putting my menu image along with hotspots yadda yadda…

    I never closed the html tage because the html tag was just <html> it had more info, so i tossed a </html> at the bottom of my Header.php. and presto!

    Now I get the proper message:

    <!– Dynamic Page Served (once) in 0.427 seconds –>
    <!– Cached page served by WP-Super-Cache –>

    ??

    So i guess its working now? woot!

    My plugins are:
    NextGEN Gallery 0.99.1
    nextGEN_ajax 0.1
    Shutter Reloaded 2.1
    Sociable 2.9.5
    TinyMCE Advanced 3.1
    WP-Polls 2.31
    WP-Polls Widget 2.31
    WP Super Cache 0.8.4

    Where would I dump a </html> tag in? which file? hehe sorry if this is bothersum! ??

    I cant make a backup. the files were deleted. the only backup i had was of a few hours prior to the deletion.

    im on a fresh install, i was able to just upload my theme from my backed up theme files, but now im wondering which .php files or w/e contain my posts and pages.

    hmmm, i been searching :-/

    /// .. im checking out these plugins as you suggested.

    I’m trying to learn this stuff so i would appreciate it if you didn’t put me down for trying lol.

    I guess whatYOU dont get is that I basically asked how to control that “wrapper” you speak of; mind you since im learning this stuff just through wordpress i haven’t learnt all the technical terms yet.

    I know it has something to do with another settings’ width, but I cant seem to figure it out.

    – See? I do get that there is a ‘container’ of sorts.

    So now I have to find out if i can change that div/wrapper/container to a bigger width. or where the code is that controls the over all theme width.

    I have to find it somewhere in my style.css im assuming. (im probaly wrong) lol

    I try that firefox addon now, in the meantime,
    check out my narrow and my sidebar section of my css:

    .narrowcolumn {
    float:left;
    margin:0 0;
    padding:0 0 20px 45px;
    width:450px;
    }
    .widecolumn {
    margin:5px 0 0 150px;
    padding:10px 0 20px;
    width:450px;
    }

    The narrow should be 940 and i wanted the sidebar to be beside it, but when i push it from 450 to 940 it pushes the sidebar to the bottom.

    ok i think i figured it how, but instead of posting a new thread ill just ask here…

    How do i get my background image from my body to start right under the footer?

    currently it reads:

    /* Begin Typography & Colors */
    body {
    	font-size: 62.5%; /* Resets 1em to 10px */
    	font-family: 'Lucida Grande', Verdana, Arial, Sans-Serif;
    	background: #000000 url('images/layout_bg_2.jpg') top center no-repeat;
    	color: #fff;
    	text-align: center;
    	}

    its currently being overlapped by the footer.. should start right after it? is there another tag to use instead of “top” maybe something more specific?

    I’m referring to adding a image to the body of the header.php. not a background image

    UPDATE: i see a little blue box where my image would be, i perposely left the border on to see if i could see it, it appears to be tiny on my page, and squashed. perhaps this is a structure issue?

    some help would be nice ??
