I think you’re rating the wrong product as it doesn’t make any sense. Both Essential Addons and Elementor allow you to design on your own by all the provided controls for each element. So, it’s really up to you what you are designing. It doesn’t enforce you any design. Would you kindly clarify which design you are pointing to? We’d love to check and improve if there’s something on us.

I got your point about that optional tracking notice. Lots of plugin uses this to determine proper compatibility with other plugins they are using. And yes, we have a pretty good roadmap for this plugin and we want to keep improving the plugin and need feedback support from the users. We have released an update and removed the setup wizard completely, so there’s no more distraction I believe. We’ll be more careful to add new features and will surely keep it minimal.

And while you just want to disable comments, there are lots of feature requests for WP CLI support, disabling comments through REST-API and XML-RPC, and so on. So we had to keep developing the relevant features people are requesting when we took over. There are lots of different use cases among this million of users. However, we’ll be more careful to add new features and will surely keep it minimal.

Thanks for sharing your feedback though there are other ways to do that without putting a negative review. We have released an update and removed the setup wizard completely, so it won’t be distracting anymore. I understand you might like the default WordPress admin design but lots of plugins developers choose to go for a bit out of the box design. For this plugin, the UI is still fairly simple, with just a bit polished color scheme. Nothing distracting here I believe. And this plugin was not actively developed for a while, so “optimized things” is not a joke, we had to fix compatibility with the latest WordPress and PHP version hence needed to optimize a few things. It’s an open-source project, you can go through commits and check the codebase.

WordPress now doesn’t block the backend even if you face a fatal error unless you are using old WordPress installation. However, do you have FTP access? Can you kindly send a ticket to our support email so we can assist better?

The concept of this block directory is very new and things changing all the time and we’re adjusting to keep it working. So giving negative review won’t really help much. We’d appreciate it if you create a support ticket instead so we can check the issue and help you and improve the block.

Hope you are doing well. We did not advertise that it’s available for Hebrew sites. We couldn’t say it’s 100% RTL-ready. However, for translation, you can use any translation plugin that works well with BetterDocs. So I think it’s not fair to rate the plugin for feature that we don’t offer. I hope you understand.
