In reply to: Header wont center when viewing on mobile phoneWorked like a charm!
Thank you.
I am having a very similar problem on a site I’m building for my self.
The project and header of my portfolio site are shifting to the left on my mobile…
I tried looking for a min-width to remove but can’t find anything. At this point I’ve butchered the css.
Any suggestions?
Thank you again for your help. It’s saving me.

In reply to: Images Not Showing On Iphone/mobile deviceGenericBox, Thank you. That was it. I totally forgot to change over the img from my local site.
Wpyogi, I’ll have to fix those. Appreciate it.
Looking at the site on an iphone, it’s a little off center (skewed to the left). tried setting relevant html to margin: 0 auto; nothing changed.
There’s also a very faint outline around my header when viewing on iphone… Tried fixing but still cant find the problem…
For some reason my links to my projects aren’t working. checked the links and they look good. Eventually, I’ll be putting my wordpress at high-spirits.us instead of /beta, so maybe I can fix this then…
Sorry for all the questions, I’m a wordpress amateur so thank you for your patience in advance!
Thanks Thanks Thanks for any help. WordPress 4ever ??

In reply to: Changing Background color of Home Page (Responsive Theme)I have cleared the cache. Nothing changed.
I’m inspecting using firebug…
I’m stumped as to where the gray is coming from.
I even tried using the !important rule with no success…
wordpress: 3.5.1
twenty twelve: 1.1
nope, still doesnt. I should have mentioned I tried that. I seriously appreciate the help. if there’s no solving this mystery I can nix the use of the sticky post/front page function (as nice as it may be).
when i activated my parent theme it looked like this:
https://i1259.photobucket.com/albums/ii542/re_peter/ScreenShot2013-04-15at11853AM.png
then I went back and tried the child with all plugins deactivates and nothing changed…
you can see something is possibly going on. or not. not too sure…

it’s definitely using the modified version… the test showed
hmm, tried it both ways
first:
child theme/front-page.php
then:
child theme/page-templates/front-page.php
neither solved problem…
would i nest it in a page-templates folder? like the parent theme’s directory.
