    David:

I couldn’t find your e-mail address on your website so I left you a blog comment (on Digital Raindrop’s) that has my e-mail address attached to it. Just send me a quick e-mail and I will e-mail you back with a zipped file of the theme. Thanks!

    David:

I see. So basically, do you think changing color to a darker blue might not be possible? I just went to the theme forum to see if I could find anything there. Didn’t find anything but there are quite a few people there posting that everything is going to hell in a hand basket and others warning not to upgrade to version 3.33 WordPress or it is likely that it will crash and not see the site again. I think some are looking for a leader to come in and save the ship from sinking but I think they threw the towel in months ago and are going to make sure that the project cannot be revived.

Anyway, I am rambling… probably because uncertainty makes me nervous… It will be interesting to see how it comes out. Hopefully I will be able to change the color temporarily and in the meantime start looking for something nicer. Thanks for going the extra length to check that out for me.

    WPyogi:

Yep, I agree. I always try to tell myself not to get too attached to one look or one way of doing things with the blogs (got 14 of them to switch but I do have a good theme in mind for at least 6 of them).

I opened up style.css with Notepad++ and was going to paste the hex color code in to see if it worked and I looked everywhere and couldn’t find it. I went through the thing at least 4 times and now I’m wondering if Notepad is hiding it on me or my eyes are just tired from working too long. I went to Language and selected CSS. (I even went up to the search and then to Find and put it in there and couldn’t pull anything up).

Would you mind telling me what line # in the pastebin you saw it on? Sorry I seem so lost, I’m usually not too bad. If I don’t find it, I will just take a break and come back to it when I’m more rested.

@david – yes, I understand what you’re saying now. There’s a lot of work yet to be done in the graphics to be put on in both the blog and script so I can’t wait to see what it looks like when it’s done.

    Thanks for the input.

    Hello WPyogi:

Thank you for your response. Yes, I want all the blue navbar and sidebar headers to change. So all I have to do is change the hex code #1961A8 to a code that I want and it should work right? I really hope so.

I’m not sure it’s commercial anymore. I’m trying to find another theme that will work with my blog and still look and do the same things but haven’t been able to find one yet. The whole thing is closed and nobody is getting charged anymore even though there were losses. So it’s just a free thing now. I guess I never understood why everyone was so upset about it but I guess it’s because somebody else made money and should provide the support for it. Well, I can say for sure that he and Bobby Sue took the money and ran and I don’t think he will be back…

I did learn my lesson on buying a paid theme and will try to find a free one that will work as well. I’m not going back into those fields again. I’m getting too old for war.

Thanks for your reply as well David. The top 2 banners are banners that I put in with HTML code. The code that WPyogi mentioned is the color of the header bars right now and the code that you saw was actually one that I had pasted in there but it didn’t do anything. It’s the color that I would like the bars to be now, so hopefully I will get it pasted in the right spot and it will work! I didn’t catch that code still being in there but I have been looking at the code now for days so my eyes are killing me.

Thanks again for all the help. I will try to offer my help to other posters when it’s something that I can help with.

    Have a good one.

    Hello alchymyth:

Thank you for replying back to me. I haven’t tried your suggestion yet, but I am going to in the next couple days and then I will let you know if it worked. I just wanted to let you know that I appreciated your help. You seem to be a member that is always trying to help someone with their WordPress blog and I bet you rescue a lot of people.

I hope that one day I can end up with enough knowledge to be of help to other forum members and I’m sure I probably will as I plan to stick around for the long haul. Thanks again!

    Best Regards,
    RealEstateGuy

    Hello alchymyth:

Thank you for your response. I pasted the index.php at the site you requested and I believe the link is this:

    https://pastebin.com/KaDxRJKf

After I made this post, I did some more searching on another site and found a suggestion to go to Settings and then to Reading and then try changing the number in Blog Pages to Show at Most to 21 or 7. When I changed it to 7, the plug-in started to show 6 pages but they are all duplicate or the same post. Before it just displayed posts number 1 and 2.

I looked at the archive pages and could not see that they were displaying correctly but maybe I am missing something or did not understand what you meant. If I go to HYIP Reviews or any of the other categories, it seems to work the same way as it does on the last post or main post.

Thanks again for your help, I really appreciate it. I have been trying to get this thing to work for months now and it is probably something simple but something I do not see or understand. If the link above does not work, let me know and I will find another link or way to display the page to you at pastebin.com.

    Best Regards,

    Jeff

    Shane,

Thanks a lot for helping me with that! Does anybody know how to stop it from being highlighted in gray when you put your mouse over it? I don’t really like it but would be interested to hear what you guys think of it and if anybody knows how to turn it off.

Thanks again for the help and if I can ever return the favor I will.

    Have a good one,
    RealEstateGuy
