Hi, I still can’t access your support forum, so will post the error logs here. It references coreActivity anyway, so the issue might actually be with this plugin rather than coreSecurity itself.

Please disregard, I spotted the “Do Not Log” option when I enabled the Object column and this has done the trick!
Fantastic little plugin, I may grab the coreSecurity plugin to go along with it. ??
Hi Paul,
Thanks for the fast reply! ?? Very interesting that this isn’t the first you’ve heard about this.
I do agree that it’s unlikely Shield Security is causing a problem. WP engine told me they couldn’t see anything obvious in the logs and there were no fatal errors.
I’m not using Woocommerce Square, or anything with a similar name I’m afraid.
However at the time of the issues, I was using Matomo Analytics, which I had only just installed. I noticed it runs a bit slowly, even with few users online, so disabled it instantly and within about 60 seconds, the gateway errors stopped and the site started running smoothly again. So I wonder if the autoload is something of a red herring as the real cause has now been disabled.
Unfortunately I won’t be able to test this theory until I do another timed sale, but I will definitely keep investigating and push WP Engine for more answers when I find something. I was hoping they could have reassured me when I spoke to them earlier, but they’ve just given me something else to worry about that may not even be necessary.
Thanks again for your advice. ??

In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Payments] Safari “Hide IP address” kills PP buttonsHi Joost,
Unfortunately Krystian is also unable to reproduce the issue and now I can’t either! So it looks like this one will remain a mystery unless any other reports come in.
Thank you for taking the time to comment and I’ll be in touch if I find it happening again. ??
Kind regards,
Rebecca
Hi Uzair,

In reply to: [Cookies and Content Security Policy] WP Engine advisoryI enabled the compatibility mode soon after installing the plugin, so was surprised when it stopped working. Your excellent debug mode helped me quickly pin down the problem!
Fortunately it won’t affect those who don’t have many logged-in users, but running a shop it’s kind of critical for me. WP Engine setup the exclusion over chat within a matter of minutes, so it’s an easy fix.

In reply to: [Cookies and Content Security Policy] JavaScript/Base64 error.Ah, that’s an analytics service I use. Interestingly, it seems to be tracking users just fine as long as they have statistics cookies allowed – I have set the domain for exclusion.
I shall mark the topic as resolved. Thanks for your help. ??Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Cookies and Content Security Policy] JavaScript/Base64 error.Hi Johan,
No worries, thanks for replying.
Any idea what might be calling this script? I’m not even sure what it does, and haven’t noticed anything not working, so clearly nothing important.
Kind regards,
Rebecca

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Out-of-stock items – can’t make payment any more.Hi Vankaa,
I tried enabling back-orders, but then the item shows as available for other customers to buy. I only want customers with a pending order (that I have created for them) to be able to purchase the items.
I don’t want to hide the items from my catalogue, as I need people to be able to see them.
I’m not sure how
woocommerce_product_is_in_stock
works, but it sounds like it will create the same dilemma above, yes?I did find the following code in class-wc-shortcode-checkout.php – would it be safe for me to simply remove it?
// Ensure order items are still stocked. foreach ( $order->get_items() as $item_key => $item ) { if ( $item && is_callable( array( $item, 'get_product' ) ) ) { $product = $item->get_product(); if ( $product && ! $product->is_in_stock() ) { /* translators: %s: product name */ throw new Exception( sprintf( __( 'Sorry, "%s" is no longer in stock so this order cannot be paid for. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.', 'woocommerce' ), $product->get_name() ) ); } } }

Rebecca

In reply to: [jQuery T(-) Countdown Widget] Countdown losing timeHi Baden,
I’ve tried both leaving the tab active and literally watching it, and leaving it open in an inactive tab while I do something else. I can see the time loss by watching it for as little as 1-2 minutes.
I’m using Safari 9 on OSX El Capitan. I’m also able to reproduce the issue on my iPhone 6.
Kind regards,
Rebecca

Oops, please ignore, I just realised I can’t ask for help with the pro version here (I’m trying the free trial and wrongly assumed that meant I wouldn’t get support elsewhere).
I will open a support ticket on the website. ??
