In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Widget Grid – Events Not ShowingHi Fulvio,
No, not at all – changing the API and ID is what started the problem, unfortunately. I made these changes because an error message appeared above the widget, claiming that an API key was needed.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Widget Grid – Events Not ShowingHi Fulvio, thank you so much for your reply. That is a bit weird!
I tried recreating the widget with the same conditions but experienced the same problem.
However, I think I may have the opposite problem to mmacoustic here! I DID change the Calendar ID for the feed at the same time I added the API key, as I noticed my ID has also changed to be just the email address. This is where the problem started.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Widget Grid – Events Not ShowingHi there,
Unfortunately, it isn’t! I’m referring to the monthly calendar grid (the second item in the left widget sidebar). The grid itself is showing, but appears to be ‘blank’ with none of our events included. Sorry to hear you’re having a similar problem, though.
Hi there angelo,
Good point. Image upload does work on the submission form when I’m logged in as admin. However, when I submit an image that’s approx 400KB, I get ‘The image file is too big! Maximum size: 204800’. I tried another that was 70KB and that was fine. Is there any way to increase this limit?
However, the problem with the success message remains even when logged in as admin – it simply doesn’t show.
Hi there,
Yes, “upload_event_images” is ticked for the Subscriber level in the EM User Capabilities (as suggested, submissions by non signed-in users are assigned to an ‘anonymous’ Subscriber account).
Hi angelo,
I have version 5.6 of EM installed.

In reply to: Plugin/version updates not completingThanks so much for the helpful information, Tara. I’ve performed a successful manual update to the latest version, and hopefully this should have solved the problem for future plugin updates as well?

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Sidebar Widget – Today's EventsHi Benjamin,
Thank you so much for your reply – I understand. ai1ec is fantastic to work with, so I will see if I can find a work-around (unless you have any further suggestions about how I could achieve something similar).
I promise I will leave a review for you soon as well.
Thanks again!

In reply to: Twenty Fourteen: Additional text in featured content sliderModerators: is it possible for this topic to be moved to the Twenty Fourteen extend listing page, or deleted so I can repost it there?
It’s my first time on the forums and unfortunately I didn’t notice this mistake until it was too late!
