The place where it shows the levels is when the person attempted to view the page tries to but does not have the correct level membership. I have restricted the membership through the “Require Membership” option. Should I be doing so through the category? If I have a few levels – with people subscribing to higher amounts (and therefore being allowed the lower levels too) do I need to choose them as well, or will they automatically be given access?
Thanks again.
Thanks Andrew. Let me respond to both your responses:
Response 1:
I am logging in from https and it is logging me in to https. As in this page: https://www.lovingkindness.co/2018/09/02/take-a-breath-guest-post/ When I log in, it logs in just fine – but it takes me to the wp-admin page allowing to edit the page instead of allowing me to view the blog post! If I try viewing the blog post again it then acts as if I’m logged out and I must log in again – which of course takes me back to the wp-admin page.
Response 2:
I am using the standard 2016 page (not 2017). Must I change it now to 2017? I have done a good job of keeping things working on it and I don’t want to lose formatting etc. by using a newer page (only to complicate things further!)
I have over 60 plugins. Must I now remove them all again? I’ve done this to find that Theme My Login has also caused conflicts (and I don’t know why) – and it is highly time consuming. What then if I find it working and then it stops after a particular plugin is activated? Does that mean I cannot use that plugin?
Thank you.
If you mean do I see the words at the bottom of the main admin page that say “Thank you for creating with WordPress” and then on the right it says “Version 4.9.8
” then the answer is yes. Otherwise I am not sure which footer you are referring to.I would like to use it. When I activate it, it will show up fine, but I will be unable to use the basic features even to publish a post, choose a featured image etc. At the moment – it is deactivated.
I don’t understand what you mean by the pages being cached. My personal cache has been emptied numerous times but even after that, the same effect takes place. I have officially taken off the TML but I had lost my original plugin settings for Paid Memebrship Pro. I finally found a way to at least allow people to log in – though it looks quite unpleasant with just the WordPress main log-in screen. I would prefer something that looked a little more professional. But the TML just crashes my other settings (as above.)

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Not able to show product categories – only individual productsI have solved the problem
Thanks. As I say – the site works fine on all browsers. When editing it in Firefox however, it gives this blue screen (which I cannot add screenshot to show you what it is) where everything appears as text – as if the editor has gone crazy. However, when I edit it using Chrome, it does not show the blue screen.
Yes indeed, I have disabled all the plugins as you suggested adding only Woocommerce. I don’t understand it either. It is hosted via Bluehost. Maybe I will try and ask them to explain it. I’m not sure if this is their department of service though.
Thanks again.
Oh – I see… there must be others. It says at the bottom “Storefront designed by Woocommerce”. I presume it’s called Storefront.
I am using the standard Woocommerce theme – designed by Woocommerce. I disabled all the plugins except for Woocommerce.
Tried disabling using the plugin you mentioned above. Only let Woocommerce work. Still gave the blue screen. Still works fine in Chrome though. How can one find out where the problem is with the CSS as you mention?
Thanks for this valuable info! While fiddling about – I decided to try the same page using the Chrome browser. There – it worked fine! I went back to Firefox – and there – it went back to the blue screen as above. I can’t imagine it is a plugin problem – unless Firefox is having a difficulty with one of the plugins. (Do you think that could be?!) Before doing the disable routine as you mention above – can it be that it is simply Firefox acting up? If so, is there any way to deal with it – or is it just simply a case that I can no longer use Firefox when I am using the Woocommerce plugin.
Thank you!

In reply to: My RSS Feed has stopped updatingAndrew, the RSS feed address I provided is in fact the correct address. It is for blogger – though the WordPress feed does indeed look like the example you have given.
Here is what I did:
1. I did some resets in the Feedburner account.
2. Believe it or not – I changed my ordinary widget to a plugin
3. Today – after posting something, I see that while the old ordinary feed widget did NOT update – when I changed it to the new one, it DID update!
4. For some reason, all the posts in between this update and the from where the problem began still do not show up (even though the new one now does show up!)I will continue checking it. It looks like from the reset of Feedburner that something changed and it is back to updating – but the older posts for whatever reason have simply disappeared in terms of their updates!
I’ll give it a few days. Hopefully, it looks like it is working again after all this!
Thanks!

In reply to: My RSS Feed has stopped updatingYes certainly. I am actually using the default widget option. I have the following URL: https://feeds.feedburner.com/blogspot/LBYgEW (which funnily enough works perfectly if one uses it the browser address. It just doesn’t want to work inside the widget!)
I have also used the standard URL (which always directs to the URL above in any case). It is: https://dwellingplacebelow.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss
So in conclusion – both URLs will work perfectly in the browser, but inside the widget they won’t show the most recent posts.
Thanks again.

In reply to: My RSS Feed has stopped updatingI use the standard RSS option in the widgets section of the WordPress site. I have also tried using another plugin called Freedzy RSS Feeds – but it too does the exact same thing. As far as both are concerned, my blog posts on the other site have stopped at this one particular post and it refuses to acknowledge other posts are happening.
