Sorry for the late response, been ill for a week. Thank you for the heads up I will look into the ssl issue. As far as the appointment issue, Basically, a customer shops for products online when they check out they go to the order page and at that point they should be able to schedule an appointment for pick up. I know it worked when I tested it a month or so ago.

Alright. I finally figured the darn blue box thing. With the exception of going into form-billing.php to change the name from Billing & Shipping to Local Pick Up Verification, all I needed to do was go into settings>shipping>shipping options and check ” Force shipping to the customer billing address”. Viola! My blue box payment verbiage issues were solved.

I really had no idea it was that simple. So if anyone ever starts a local pick up only curbside pick up with cash on delivery (after fighting with PayPal it is true that PayPal does not give any seller protection to those who do local pick up only) Simply remember to check the box in shipping options “Force shipping to the customer billing address”.

Well, I’m completely stumped reading about the hooks etc…to figure out what field I’m trying change so I can replace the verbiage that automatically populates the blue box on the check out page with the following content.

“Sorry it seems there are no available payment methods for your site. Please contact us if you require assistance or wish to make alternative arrangements”

Went to codeable to find a woocommerce expert for this issue no one has responded.

I have figured out some of the other stuff, but this one particular issue has completely stumped me. I noticed that Loco Translation is now sort of working, but I have no idea where to drill down in the site to find how to replace that one darn thing. Any guidance that directs me to where in files this needs to be updated would be fantastic. It’s the only thing that is preventing me from going live. That automatic statement on the checkout page is just not customer friendly. GAHHHHHHHHH!

I think that Loco Translate may be over my head (that’s an understatement). I’m going to consider my first issue resolved, as I’ve been able to test my original issue to perfection. Thank you everyone who helped me through this, I truly appreciate your time. Going to start a new topic.

Well okay, I was able to do a successful order complete with email. DOING HAPPY DANCE RIGHT NOW. Just need to figure out how to use Loco Translate to change the messaging which will certainly make it clearer to our customers. Oh my goodness, I might actually sleep well tonight. Thank you!!!

Thank you for taking the time to test. I will need to test again, I’m not sure if you actually placed the order (which I would delete if you did knowing you were testing). When I was able to do a successful order, only once, I received no email for the order and the order was devoid of any customer information. I shall test again, thanks for the heads up on the Loco Translate plugin. I’ll keep you posted.

I do appreciate your time into this issue. My deadline is fast approaching aaaaauuurrrggghhhh!

Also, one last weird thing is the first (and only) successful order I had used my billing information. I never received an email notification of an order placed and when I went into “Orders” it showed the order but no customer information which would be the reason why I never received an email indicating that I received an order. So there’s that.

If anyone knows how I can proceed I will be very grateful.

Darn it. Thought I had this beat, I tested on another computer and I’m getting the error again. So I’m not sure what to do.

Okay…so I figured it out from an article I found here:

“….this kind of error comes when your address doesn’t match any shipping methods. So in-order to overcome this issue you just need to enable more shipping methods.”

So i poked about and updated my shipping locations from disable shipping and shipping calculations to ship to specific countries. This seemed weird to me because it’s local pick up and we are not shipping but nevertheless IT WORKED, YAY!

Now I just need to figure out how to make checkout simpler, don’t need all the billing information for COD. That’s for another day and forum topic ??

Digging around further I see that there is this in the status logs, about the same time I tried processing my first COD order.
