Thanks again. I came a lot further now. I changed themes but no difference. But I use a lightbox plugin named Jquery colorbox, which had already sometime a new version which I don’t installed because it pops up my tabs. This version has a newer version of Jquery.
But, if I install the latest version, the WPtouch/Jetpack problem is gone! But I really don’t like my tabs popped up, so have to find a workaround for that. Any solutions maybe?
This helps me a lot anyways!
Thanks for noticing. I removed that part. In fact, it was a script for a Facebook like button widget I even didn’t use anymore. I removed the whole script, but no effect on the mobile page.
Unfortunately, putting back the original header didn’t change anything to the blank-page-with-smiley issue on my mobile webpage (through WPtouch).
Because this problem started to occur already some time ago and I think since the last update of WPtouch, I think maybe I have to search it there to solve the problem. I posted this also on the support forum of that plugin, but maybe you know how to solve it as well?
I now activated the Jetpack stats again, so now the mobile page doesn’t work like it used to.
Thank you so much! Now you mentioned the footer file, I instantly remembered I edited something there last week, but when I decided that the script I was wanting to use (for something else) didn’t work, I removed that part again. Unfortunately I must have deleted some of the required stuff. I uploaded the original header of my theme again and now the Jetpack twitter widget works like a charm again!
I have to say I already noticed it was strange. Usually conflicts between scripts of plugins don’t just occur out of the blue, so I was going through my files to see which one I edited lately. Unfortunaly I forgot about the footer. Great!
I’m sorry! My website URL is https://www.estrellaweb.nl
At the moment you will see a Twitter timeline, but after posting this, I found out I could customise the ‘standaard’ Twitter widget, which gives me the same options.
But, I still would prefer using the Jetpack Twitter widget. If you prefer, I can put back the Jetpack timeline for a while, so you can see how it refuses to work. Please let me know!
I did too, after seeing ayublin’s post, mine works too now! Seems it had nothing to do with the update, maybe a server issue? Glad it’s working fine again!
Same problem here, commentsystem broken since update to JetPack 1.8.2. Deactivated Jetpack comments (click on learn more and then deactivate) and switched back to native commentsystem. Hope there will be a workaround soon.

In reply to: More numbers than widgets in sidebarDFBlog, never had this issue before. Guess some sticky widgets who wouldn’t really go away after removing… ??

In reply to: More numbers than widgets in sidebarProblem solved! I tried to switch to the default theme, there the widget count was normal. After that, I activated my own theme again en voila, the widget count is back to normal! If I knew before it would be that simple… Something to keep in mind in case something goes wrong again. Thanks for the help anyway!

In reply to: More numbers than widgets in sidebarSorry, I forgot to mention it’s in the admin panel, under the options for widgets. If you install or edit a widget, you can choose a number for the position. The count of those numbers are larger than the actual widgets. I noticed the dashboard also displays more widgets than actually installed on the line how many widgets were installed.
