Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Contact Form 7] New Forms in DB but not in DashboardAh. Of course.
I’m using the WPML plugin for translations, and one of the options was to translate or do nothing for various custom post types. I had Contact Forms checked, and clearly something there wasn’t working. I checked the do nothing box, and WPML stopped interfering with whatever CF7 was doing.
Thanks.
Hey Zack, have you figured out what the culprit was with this bug? I’m running CC-API (2.3.1) with CC-API Form Designer (alpha 2.3.9) and CC-Widget (2.0.3) on WordPress 3.2.1.
I just upgraded CC-API to 2.3.9 and reset the password; it works for now. It seems that this warning disappears and reappears a day or two later for many people though, so I am still a little wary.
Any updates on this issue?

In reply to: Page Updating Throwing 404Simon,
I’m having a very similar issue with my wordpress site. Whenever I update a page and then navigate to it, I get my themed 404 error. My permalink structure is set to “day and name”, and if I reset it to default, save, and then re-reset it to day and name, it works again. Editing posts has no effect.
Running wordpress 3.3.1 with
ProfileBuilderPro 1.1.19
RoleScoper 1.3.52.htaccess is fine, and mod_rewrite is active in my apache httpd.conf file.
I am quite at a loss. Did you ever find a solution that doesn’t involve unsetting and resetting your pretty permalink structure every time you change a page?

Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: install fails with fatal error undefined function __()Thank you t-p.
I tried deactivating the plugins as per the instructions on the link you provided, but didn’t have any luck. I should note that the only plugins and themes that I have are the ones that came included with wordpress.
I’ve just downloaded another copy of wordpress 3.2.1 and am seeing a few red flags. When I click on the wordpress.tar file, it expands and creates a wordpress directory, but for some reason the date_created field always says July 12, 2011. Further, when I try to cp the wordpress directory into /Library/WebServer/my_blog I get the following error for every file:
cp: /Library/WebServer/Documents/my_blog/wordpress/<every_wordpress_file>: No such file or directory
I’m not sure what this is about. I can copy other directories into my “Web Sharing” folder with no difficulty. I can copy the wordpress directory to where I want it, and the files DO appear there, but I have to run the command as root. This seems to indicate some kind of weird permissions issue, but I’m really grasping at straws here.
I’ll keep on trucking, but does this new info help at all?
