I have done a little reading about HTML and it says that a <br> tag inserts a line break. I tried editing my posts with the HTML editor option and I still can’t get any vertical white space. I read in a forum post somewhere that I should use <lf> but that didn’t work either. Is there no way to insert Vertical white space in a post? My URL is https://www.bestmenswatchesreviews.com/blog. If you open one of the posts it should be obvious what I am trying to do, but to be precise, I want to insert enough line feeds at the end of each watch description to place my dividing line below the image. I had some limited success doing this with the post editor but it was inconsistant and kept strippingt spaces that had previously been saved successfully.

I am very frustrated!

Concerning the php code, What file do I add the code to? And where do I add it?

I take back my glowing review! I only gave it because I was pressured into it by an offer to activate their plug-in for free. As it turns out the free offer is for one font only! And to add insult to injury rhey denied me even that! In my mind this is a shake-down!

I have figured most of this out myself, but when I try to start up the new multi-site I get a message saying “To create a new network, you will need to empty or remove the network database tables.” I have the database open but I don’t know which tables to remove or empty. I don’t want to remove or empty the wrong tables.:)

I have done the deed but I don’t know where to set the URL for Home. Home does not appear on my list of pages. I don’t know how to delete tables either. I’m pretty new to WordPress.:)

I just found the problem issue, I think, but I don’t know how to fix it. I finally noticed the note to add NOBLOGREDIRECT to my wp-config.php, so I looked it up and added:
define( 'NOBLOGREDIRECT', 'https://www.bestmenswatchesreviews.com' );
It appears to be what the post I read about this said I should do, but it starts a redirect loop. Evidently I need a different URL but nothing I have tried works. Please , somebody help! My website has been down 3-1/2 days!

I contacted my website host and found out that my website is redirecting to https://www.bestmenswatchesreviews.com/wp-signup.php?
new=bestmenswatchesreviews.com

How can I eliminate that redirect? I do not want visitors creating their own websites. I and only I am permitted to create sub-sites. Nor do I want visitors registering on my website.

I changed the registry to “none” but now instead of my website I get:

“Greetings Site Administrator! You are currently allowing “none” registrations. To change or disable registration go to your Options page.”

When I visited my site in an incognito session I got: “Registration has been disabled.”

My menus are on the top of the page but they do not work. I want visitors including me to go directly to my site, exactly the way it used to work before changing to a multi-site. How do I do go about doing this?

New information. I found instructions for restoring a backup file to a subsite, followed them, uncompressing the files and now see the directories and files I would expect to see but when I try to access the sub-site from the parent I get an empty site, with no trace of my restored website. Have I done something wrong or are there more steps to take?

I don’t mean to bump, but since my question has altered, I thought I should make a new entry.

I have, now managed to figure out how to set up a sub-menu in the menu page. Duh… At least it appears to be set up correctly. But it doesn’t work.:(

I have the parent menu/category with two sub-category/menus. I saved the menu, opened the website but when I hovered over the parent menu no drop-down menu appeared. When I clicked on the parent the results were all the posts from both of the sub-categories. So, can anyone tell me what I am missing or doing wrong?
