@trible this is far more reaching than an annoying message that won’t go away. They have disabled the other Sitemap in favor of their own. This puts their link into the new default sitemap.xml file. This was no mere accident. IMHO, this was done intentionally.

They are now ignoring the issue. I predict they will release a new version that doesn’t do this to avoid the bad press that is coming on it.

Your text in the on screen message reads this:

Warning: All In One SEO Pack has detected other active SEO or sitemap plugins. We recommend that you deactivate the following plugins to prevent any conflicts:

: Google XML Sitemaps

That’s the first time you’ve done this and you’re telling me that it’s just a message? Nope, not buying it. What you’re doing clearly shows that you’re wanting people to remove the Google XML Sitemaps so that you can have more exposure since your link is in the actual sitemap.

Sure but why is the message popping up now telling us that we should disable Google XML Sitemaps? That message wasn’t doing that before so why now?

@nardog03 I had to revert back to the previous version for it to work. I’ve not heard anything from the vendor so I’m not updating until they resolve that issue.

In full disclosure, they did work with me before when this happened and they resolved it. There’s nothing that leads me to think that they won’t. Just in due time… ??

This started happening with the latest update from a couple days ago. I have informed them of this issue. I assume they are aware of it.

Extremely sorry for the delay on this. We didn’t get notification but we should have checked it and I apologize. If you update to the latest version of the plugin it should activate just fine. Let me know if you have any issues with it.

Yes, it’s set to Add Trailing Slashes and that doesn’t work for pages. I also tried the auto-redirect option as well.
