Thank you, that works as long as you make sure it is http, not https. The upload/insert button for videos still doesn’t seem to work though.

I looked at that but it seems awfully complicated and way more than I need. I just want to get the one I have to align properly, which probably can be done in the edit section for the plugin but I don’t know how to do that.

I’m using a plug in. I tried several of the ones that are in the wordpress collection, same thing happened with all of them.

I just checked it on a different puter and sure enough, no favicon. Thanks for the reality check! I’m guessing from what you said, the font sizes aren’t changeable? I checked them out with different browsers and they do vary, but the post titles would definitely benefit by being bigger. But if that is all that is wrong with this theme, no complaints, some of the others are very messed up. Thanks again for all your help, I’ve tried posting these kinds of queries in the themes forum and I don’t know who is moderating that, but the replies are useless, if I get them at all.

Also, the ‘ribbon’ (I don’t know what else to call it) is red and to the left of the website url in the browser window, I guess maybe icon would be a better description.

I’m using Firefox. When I type in the url in the browser, that is where I see the ribbon, not on the site itself. Something to do with meta-tags maybe?

That is how it works on the other pages but not the main page. On the main page unless you have a maximized window, you only see part of the window and have to scroll to the left or right to see the rest. I don’t have a way to take a screenshot. I’m not the first person to post a question about this, so clearly other people are having this problem too.

Alas that did not work, will wait for actual css guru, thanks tho.

Yes and no. if it is just a link it turns red. But if I bolded it and made it into a link which I sometimes do for emphasis, it stays black. You can see what I mean if that doesn’t make sense at https://www.feministpeacenetwork.org.

Where should I insert it? I tried just below other .item_class lines but it didn’t do anything?

The problem is that it also changes the links in the sidebar and darn near everything in the sidebar is a link so it is too much red. I was hoping to just turn the links in the posts themselves red, but maybe that is hoping for too much?

Okay, will forget the faux column lol. Other than that these sidebars now look MUCH better imho. On the posts themselves I’d like to change the linked text to red so it stands out, but couldn’t figure that out.

The other thing that is strange is that no matter where I put in pictures, they end up on the left??

Esme, thank you that worked. I’ve done that and made some other changes and would love some feedback! The 2 big things I still don’t like are:
1–I’d like the sidebar background colors to go all the way to the bottom of the page instead of just ending where their content ends and
2. I want to change the link color so that links stand out from the text but can’t figure out where that is in the style sheet.

Forget the above (except the thanks!), still working on it, more to follow.
