I’ve been trying different codes i eventually found online and none seem to make the images as wide as, say the featured image. Featured image is full width of page, all other sizes I’ve tried for content images leave a gap on left and right side.

One thing i noticed is that the text stretched as wide as the image and doesn’t look very good being so wide is it possible to limit the text width and keep the image full width?

Update: Finally figured out what the problem was. I had set a post page as default for under construction, and I need to have default set to static page for theme options to appear. strange.

Another question i have, is it possible to make the layout content fill the screen width wise on a desktop view? In looking at the code it seems the widest my content can be is 740px wide. Ive tried editing the css but must not be in the right area to have it stretch across screen. I really like the theme and would be great if able to pull that off somehow. ???

I changed to the tribe event style and now it added my event to the next day and changed the times when checking front end display. If I edit event to correct it, it shows same day with correct hours. ??? How can it display different information from the edit screen? I dont understand this.

edit….i just deleted and re-added event without adding venue or organizer. Now it shows properly, so i guess the google maps or something was throwing it off?

Were you talking about that big file type icon with the arrow to the right side image? Im having the same issue. Looks like you got rid of it. How did you get rid of it? Thanks.

I guess you have to have the write a review form on one page, and the actual published reviews on another page.
Think I have it working but the star rating is not showing on the website. It shows when leaving a review, and in the publish review area, but once approved no stars show.
I only have strong testimonials, contact form 7, all in one seo installed as plugins. My theme is poseidon.

Duh. forgive me. Im looking all over the css and trying to use code inspector and its right under my nose in customize, theme options, header. My apologies.

Thank you for your help. Please clarify for me as it isnt working.
I added your code, edited to show the path to my image, and went to check for my page id. It doesnt show page id it shows “post=”, and i just found out the number to right is the page-id. In my case its “2”. Still nothing.

I finally got it to display correctly by deleting jqueryfitvids file and editing plugins file to remove top section of fitvids code.
Hope this doesn’t break anything down the road. Can’t understand why it wouldn’t display properly with that coding, but it works now across all platforms and browsers. Strange.

Ah, thank you David for the quick informative reply. I tried resizing the logo for mobile device but if i make it the width of my mobile phone, for example, it pushes the three bars for drop down menu off the screen. I also wanted custom html so phone number would display at top but that gets pushed off screen as well and doesn’t wrap underneath the logo.???

The one press theme is not active as i have a live twenty eleven theme at the moment.
