    Hi Lenk..

And Wow! thanks for those links..that’s awesome.. much appreciated.

I know I will still probably have to learn to code from the ground up as otherwise the original code will be someone elses etc and Im not sure what the moral/legal implications of that are..and whether I could use that as a foundation and release it as my own theme ( I don’t wanna be a pirate) but a blank theme gives me more a chance to create by adding new things as opposed to altering things which is usually the case.

this links are a great starting point though and that will give me something to get my teeth into tonight.

thanks Saurus, and Lenk, thanks for the replies

    ??

I’m off to learn some more..

    Hi Saurus..

    Thanks for your reply!.

Yea, I am learning as much as I can about it all, but it seems to be taking me forever and I am eager to get going and create and finish a theme.

I was wondering if all the theme designers out there actually code from the ground up, or if they use some kind of blank default theme and add to that (which would be my prefered method at the moment)

I already found some themes I like and am backward engineering them etc, to see how they did stuff but obviously I can’t use that as a foundation for my theme because of copyright etc, and other issues as I wouldnt of coded it myself sort of thing.

Thanks for the advice and info.. Im on that page now:)

    M
