The table prefix shouldn’t make any difference. This is most bizarre, it’s been a while since I wrote this but I have gone over and over my code and there is nothing in there that would hide the save button or output the messages you are getting. Looking at the message again I am wondering if it isn’t something to do with the general connectivity to your database and the fact that it’s showing on the plugin page is a red herring. Do you have any other plugins installed that have settings pages? Is this message popping up anywhere else?

I’m sorry, I am unable to recreate your issue and the WordPress ‘tips’ displayed are not part of my plugin. Where did you download the plugin from? Is it a fork of my original which can be found here: https://en-gb.www.ads-software.com/plugins/edit-any-table/.

Without having access to your database etc. it is almost impossible to diagnose. Have you checked all the relevant details via a program such as phpmyadmin?

All I can suggest is that you completely uninstall the plugin and try again …. sorry.

Can you post a screen shot of the ‘diagnostic tips’, The save changes button should always be visible.

Have you selected Admin Access and/or Editor Access?

Hi – that’s the settings page. You need to go back to the main console once you’ve saved your settings and depending on what you’ve chosen you will either see a widget or a new menu item.

Pressing the search without entering any search term will display all the data in your table.

Hi sorry have been busy with my day job recently but am planning to cover a number of requests in the next release when I have time. Not promising anything though as nobody else has requested this but if it’s not too time consuming I’ll give it a shot.
