  • 1) I think its 5.2.2
    2) is your php updated to work with it
    3) are you in the WP Dashboard – my other location is always out of wack

Also, jumping too far ahead is not recommended – you need to do gradual updates and make sure everything is working well before you update to the next one until your

I had 5 directories that kept getting indexed and had my host edit my I think htacess file with robots and a good sitemap that stopped the issue immediately for me.

I had a similar issue with mine after a month of use… it turned out because of security restrictions my host was employing that my log in was always changing so it kept me out until they gave me another link to use for admin and all was fine.

Are you using wifi with a random IP generation with it or a cellular connection?

Although I got that fixed I still can not FTP in because of my connection but when I go elsewhere I can. It could be on your end or the host security.

I forget the plug in that checks and another that cleans — I’d look into cleaning out your database first manually and see if anything helps… if not go in and locate any remaining trash or use a plugin for that – I recently had an image issue where it was loading them all in sideways except the first one I had to rotate them back and forth and save a few times on one and once on the others before it would work right. I’ve had problems in past with some images not loading but turned out they really did and didn’t show up.

CACHE flush and log out and in. As well as a database cleanse worked for me. The issue with the pictures there was several megs I cleared… but also, I had a recent update to my theme and that update I have had other errors resulting since it was updated.

It cold be as simple as trying the flushes or another theme temp sakes to see.

Mine was very slow at first too… haha but not as slow as watching water dry with your site.

Two things – 1) Hosting could be poor 2) Theme can play a major role as well.

Besides that, in my case I have a fast host, and suppose to be fast theme or at least responsive – however I was still in yellow bottom and red. In my case I loaded website in wrong directory, the host moved it for me – it’s had all kinds of quirks that no one else has possibly due to a bad first install. Long story short – I got mine pretty fast on both mobile and desktop.

I used Cloudflare & litespeed together – I tried every plug in out there and tweaked for months with each one setting by setting. For me and my site with my theme & host that was the magic bullet – every theme and host varies so your mileage can vary.

Just Do one or two things at a time. PURGE, wait sometimes a day if things don’t seem like they did anything. I usually saw in minutes to an hour if a new setting was right for me but after a lot of changes – it took longer.

DONT be concerned with getting 100 perfect score – ONLY be concerned with the speed it loads.

Do you mean under pages most recent & view all there not going back?

Also in menu structure you can name them… ie preserve?

    I’m new too

I’m very new to wordpress and I am having a hard time following you, it sounds to me like you’re contradicting yourself.

Can you POST & the post shows up on live site but not on admin dashboard side?
