I have exactly the same problem when using my Macbook Pro, so you’re not imagining the issue!

The Save button is hiding behind the right hand sidebar (Settings: Post/Block). As a temporary work-around, when you want to Save or Publish you can use the x to close the right hand sidebar, and the Save button appears. Then you can reopen the Settings sidebar.

I have now resolved this. The Image is in a Group, and I first have to apply Inherit Default Layout to the Group; then I have a Full Width option for the Image.

Thanks very much for your reply. It’s hard to find the source of the css because in FSE style.css has so little content.
