Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Upgrade Made a mess — pls helpOk, I too had an issue with the upgrade from 2.00 to 2.01. I uploaded the update. Ran the wp-admin/upgrade, got the ok message saying if I got that message everything was ok. Well, now when I go browse the blog, I get “Sorry, no entries matched your post”. Willing to kind of start over, I tried a new post, and published it, and still get the same message. I had posted earlier today, as is evident by the calendar link, but can’t get any posts to show up. The url is https://www.redneckramblings.com .

In reply to: Generating thumbnails/pop-up imagesI have NOT tried this yet, but I am going to. There is a link here https://jeffkalnitz.com/library/index.php?p=84 that gives an explanation for how to do what the topic of this thread is asking. I hope it helps.

In reply to: Options, Reading Options, Days vs PostsOk Moshu. Thank you for the reply.
If I am able to dig enough to find the problem, and manage to correct it, is there someone in particular I should send the fix to?

In reply to: Switching from last x posts, to days doesn’t work for me.The link that shows up with “with this one”, is the desire effect, the link at the bottom is what is returned to me after a “save and continue editing”, as well as what gets posted to the blog.

In reply to: Switching from last x posts, to days doesn’t work for me.Ok, so I guess since I didn’t post the URL straight away, I’m not gonna get any help?
I don’t know if it’s the style sheet, or lack thereof, I’m using that’s causing the symptom, because an SQL statement is usually able to easily handle the “x days old” situation.
Is nobody else experiencing this symptom or is this perhaps an oversight?

In reply to: Switching from last x posts, to days doesn’t work for me.https://www.redneckramblings.com is my blog. It’s currently set for last x posts though, not x days.
Thanks for responding. I’m miffed about why that happens.
