You put it where ever you want it to appear on your page, that’s entirely up to you.

The code doesn’t go in your style sheet, it goes in your index.php.

I think you’re right about the icons. They were just added recently and I made them rather quickly and now that you mention it they don’t seem as though they’re “part” of the color suite. That was something that had always kind of irked me…so that’s something I’ll probably work on tonight.

I added a few pixels of padding from the left edge, which is where I’m assuming you meant. And it does make it look a bit better.

How is it misleading, though?

It isn’t used to convey any sort of stance or heirarchy. Just means, “the people” as far as I’m concerned.

I’ve tried removing it from the header and it still has bullets and still fails validation.

Further <?php wp_list_cats(‘list=0’); ?> which is right above it has no problem validating.
