Thanks, @geoffbel, appreciate your reply!
Thanks @stevejharris I also found that plugin and used it to fix the issue
@treibalen yikes, a full week after releasing the update that caused e-commerce to stop working… The owner of the reported site is almost ready to give up on running her business on WordPress because of issues like this. Can you please confirm that your new release won’t cause issues for those of us that found and used the “Database Collation Fix” plugin to resolve the issue?
Ahh thank you so much!!
Using Divi’s theme builder to create the template for this page – it was resulting in a “Pod not found” error message in the visual builder unless I defined the name of the pod.
But I see now that, on the front end of the website when viewing an actual Case Study, it works without the pod name defined in the shortcode. I think I understand why.
Really appreciate your help!
-LauraUPDATE: On other Case Studies that have NO Related Services set, it’s still showing the exact same content! So I have no idea from where it’s pulling this info to display ??
See: https://abvsquared.refinegraphics.ca/case-study/prime-contractor-developer/
This case study has zero related services set on the back end.

Try reading this article to learn more about yourWordPress database
Further to Elvira’s instructions, the
wc_square_category_map
option is found in thewp_options
part of the database. The screenshot above shows you the search terms you can use to find it, or you can browse through the table until you find the row called wc_square_category_map (although this may take a while).Remember to backup your database (export the whole thing) before making any changes!
Hope this helps.
Thanks for your response, Elvira ??
I did some asking around and sound like someone was messing around with the category names on the Square account.
Now we know NOT to mess with this.
Since erasing our Square item library + manually re-syncing, everything appears to be fine as the category names match on both ends. But will keep your solution bookmarked just in case.
Thanks again!
So I might have come up with a work-around solution
- Exported my Square library as a backup
- Created a second copy of this library that was empty
- Imported this empty library (choosing to replace items), thereby deleting all of my products in Square
- Did a manual sync to re-populate my Square library
Did tests to make sure Square and my website are communicating properly (add new products, do test purchases) and everything appears to be working as normal again.
However, I had some products in Square that are NOT on my website that I will have to replace manually as they were not re-created with the sync (obviously).
So, while sync appears to be working properly now, this database “mismatch” error is still concerning. Assuming this was caused by a Woo database update? What happens next time the Woocommerce database is updated?
Hi Ray,
Thanks for getting back to me. I created a staging environment to do the basic debug. I activated Twenty Seventeen, and deactivated all plugins other than Woocommerce and Woocommerce Wholesale Prices, but there is still no field showing to enter wholesale prices. I have used this plugin on other sites, so I know something is not right. I also noticed that, when viewing All Products in the dashboard, older products that would have previously had wholesale prices entered are no longer displaying wholesale prices. It’s as if the ability to enter/view wholesale prices has been disabled. Any further suggestions?
-Laura
We have these Woocommerce extensions that impact shipping:
- Canada Post Shipping
- FedEx Shipping
- Role Based Methods
We also have other plugins that interact with Woocommerce:
- WooCommerce Basic Ordernumbers
- WooCommerce Wholesale Prices
- WooCommerce Wholesale Prices Premium
- WooCommerce Upcoming Product
- WooCommerce Colors
- Mailchimp for Woocommerce
- Smart Manager
- Helcim Payment Gateway
Here’s a screenshot of the shipping zones setup:

In reply to: [Realtyna Organic IDX plugin + WPL Real Estate] Property Title gets cut offRight, I understand that the results listing will cut off the title length in order to make the grid view work better. We don’t have a problem with that. The problem is occurring on the back end when they are Adding or Editing a Property.
Example:
They enter “The perfect home for you and your family! 4 bed, 2 bath, garage. Call us now!” into the Property Title field. Everything appears fine, the full title is showing.
When the property is finalized, they find out that WPL has cut off the end of their title. It now displays “The perfect home for you and your family! 4 bed, 2 bath, garage. Call” This is not the same thing as the text-overflow CSS styling on the results list. It’s actually erasing the extra characters. And it’s not notifying them.
This is what is causing such frustration as they are having to go back and forth. A helpful fix would be to show the limit (or “enforce” the limit) when they first enter it on the Add/Edit Property page so that this does not happen. Not allow them to enter more than ___ characters OR have a notice when they have exceed the character limit?
Is this possible to do? Your other users may find it helpful as well?
I appreciate your attention to this matter!Never mind! I figured it out – chose the “simple” layout option in appearance > widgets > WPL search
Ok so I figured out how to fix the “Property Type” not displaying. Just have to set it to “Show” on Search widget in Flex.
Still wondering about displaying all search options by default?
