But I was being a tiny bit sarcastic about the theme change. I do not relish telling my client that we have to scrap over a month’s work of planning and dev because the theme we picked doesn’t play well with captcha. I know – stuff happens all the time in web dev…

I appreciate the honesty. It’s sad that paying Themeforest for a theme that openly suggests downloading Contact 7 still results in a poorly written theme. I don’t know where else to get decent premium themes.

Sorry I forgot – yes, I got to this forum because of that Conflict link, so I’ve done the needful. Turns out, the only time the form submitted is when Captcha was turned off. None of the (very few) other plugins made a difference; and the rest are “required” by the theme.
