In reply to: [WP YouTube Lyte] Question about auto play@optimizingmatters Thanks for the reply. No problem. I think as a work around I’ll compress the video into a gif and use that instead of a video. Amazing plugin, thanks so much.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Where can I find a CSV for U.S. taxes for checkout?Hi grigaswp:
I managed to get it working. For some odd reason there was a Jetpack activation link at the top of my plugin page. I clicked on it, and now I have access to the automated taxes. Thanks a bunch.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Where can I find a CSV for U.S. taxes for checkout?Hi, I followed the steps outlined above but could not locate the “automated taxes”
I recorded my screen and uploaded it to Youtube as an unlisted video. Could you maybe figure out where I am going wrong?

In reply to: [Relevanssi - A Better Search] Ecommerce – Showing Prices in SearchesHi,
First off, thanks for responding so quickly.
Second – I don’t know how to alter theme template files, but I did find a plugin called PRyC WP/WooCommerce: Product search in any search. When I combined this with Relevanssi I was able to get more focused results in the typical grid format with prices.
Although I didn’t end up editing the actual template files, your post did allow me to think in the right direction.
Perfect, thanks so much.
I actually completely forgot this theme had a custom css box.
OK thank you so much for that info, it really helps. The reason I actually posted this question is due to the fact that I am using the Yoast SEO plugin and it was telling me to put my information in the Description field, but WooCommerce was marking the short description field for the rich snippets as you stated.
I’m kind of new to all of this, so I just assumed that structured data was what you wanted google to read on your page, and if it wasn’t in the structured data it wouldn’t be read.
Thank you so much for clarifying this for me. I’ll make sure to use both from now on. You were a massive help. I have to give this plugin 5/5 for the awesome support. Thank you so so much.
Well see that’s where I am confused.
I’m going to link screen shots to illustrate my point.
Example 1:
Notice that the information in the “short description” field is recognized as the product’s “description” in the structured data report. Here is the screenshot link: https://snag.gy/LFpsO.jpg
Example 2:
This is the exact same item, but I have simply moved the text from the “short description” field to the “product description” field. Notice that the “description” information in the structured data is now completely gone. Here is the screenshot link: https://snag.gy/J9cJ0.jpg
I am just wondering why these two results are different, and if it could impact my visibility in a Google search.
Thanks for taking the time to reply, as I am slightly confused and really do appreciate your help.
