    Hi,

I wish to additionally confirm that premium version and standard version are tested with equal care and attention. If there is a bug in your version, or if it is conflicting with a piece of code causing edit fields not to work, we would fix it asap.

I would request you to create a support ticket on our helpdesk by writing to [email protected] and nothing will give us more satisfaction than helping you out.

    Hi,

That’s easily done. You have to create two separate registration forms in Forms Manager for each type of users. Bound the forms with user roles in Form Configuration. Add price field to Author form.

I hope it helps. Let me know if you need more details.

    Hello Vehemoth,

This was a major update and unfortunately you experienced an issue that affected a small percentage of users. This was proactively fixed within few hours of the release. It affected 2 other users who worked directly with us on our helpdesk and it was fixed by our team even before the maintenance release.

The version was under test for over a week and we are sad that this slipped past. But all being said, I want to strongly convey that up-selling is first and foremost to keep the development going. And it directly or in-directly benefits the standard (free) edition since we make it a point to keep adding new features to it with new releases. In fact, this release was dedicated to free edition as all the major features added (like the new front end, visual form editor etc.) went to free edition. We could have easily skipped adding new features and kept you happy. But a large majority of users support the more innovative and ambitious path. And we have to serve them as well. We do understand that with ambitious releases like these, there are bound to be hiccups. We are committed to solve them asap instead of stopping the progress altogether.

Adding innovation and breaking conformity will always upset more than a few. But make no mistakes, your negative review will definitely hurt us. A lot of users shall heed your warning. This may even slow down the development and indirectly affect lot of others who use RegistrationMagic day in and out on their sites. To that end, a response to the review hardly catches anyone’s attention or changes their mind.

But to us, it is important to be open about how strongly we feel for every word our users say to us and how serious we are about RegistrationMagic. And to break the autocratic image of developers your tried to paint, while nothing can be farther from the truth. We are artists and our work can sometimes make use of the faculty of imagination. Bizarreness is offspring of this little exercise which can turn into beautiful shapes when time comes. Rest assured it is intentional and we have plans for it.

All of your suggestions have been taken in for the next release. Older incremental releases have been made available for download. Help Text animations are being reworked for a more cohesive feel. Unfortunately, We cannot change the interface because we chose to be different from the very beginning. As I said, we have huge plans for it in coming days as it will start using the groundwork it created by not conforming to preset conditions. Plus we have only received appreciation for it so far. As feedback keeps coming in we will keep making improvements.

Lastly, we wish to thank you for taking our time to review our plugin. Nothing will make us more happy than to see you revisiting RegistrationMagic in near future. Meanwhile, we are hard at work to make this, and other beautiful things possible.

    Regards,
    RegistrationMagic Team.

    Hi,

The Standard Edition (free) of RegistrationMagic was designed to be one of the most powerful free versions around. We still keep adding features to the free version with new releases. In fact we even added payments system to free version, which is traditionally reserved for paid versions. RegistrationMagic Standard Edition comes with Forms Manager, Submissions Manager, Form Analytics, User Email System, User Manager, User Roles Manager and more.

We are sure there must be some misunderstanding. Let us know what we can do to change your opinion. We sure would love to do that.

    Hi,

When you install RegistrationMagic, default pages are created automatically inside WordPress page manager. These pages, when accessed from front end once the user has logged in, display user specific information. This includes:

    1. Fields you have marked in your forms to be displayed on user page.
    2. User form submissions and any notes your have attached to the submissions downloadable as PDF
    3. Any Payment information and status.

Apart from this you have option to create login page using shortcode or add widget with OTP system for users who are not registered on you site but have filled out a form. OTP creates a pseudo-login where users can access their details without having an account on your site.

None of this information is user editable although user can re-submit a form or fill out a new one.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Hi,

Thank you for using RegistrationMagic. Currently avatar for users are automatically pulled from their https://gravatar.com accounts. If a registered user has a gravatar account, you will see his or her image inside the User Manager section (table and individual User view).

If you want to upload (or allow users to upload) a custom image from their computers to server as profile picture, unfortunately, this functionality is not yet available. It also means side-stepping into territory of profile system plugins. Therefore instead of backing half thought out profiling features into RegistrationMagic we are in process of building a full fledged companion plugin that will incorporate profile image feature and much more. At the same time RegistrationMagic will continue to make registration system easy and powerful.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Hello leo91,

You can add reCAPTCHA at the end of any custom registration form built with RegistrationMagic easily. All you have to do is, turn it on from:

Dashboard –> RegistrationMagic –> Global Settings –> Security

and making sure you have entered reCAPTCHA keys correctly.

If for some reason reCAPTCHA is not appearing correctly despite this, please use the form on your website to submit a support request. Our support staff will need little more information to help you out.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
