In reply to: [Document Management System] PDF Documents “Failed to Load”Hello,
What version of the DMS module is this happening with? Also, what web browser are you using? Please send a screenshot of the diagnostic screen to [email protected]
Thanks!
Brian
Hello,
Version 1.10 should fix this.

In reply to: [Document Management System] Uploaded VersionsHello,
The DMS Pro plugin has version control and will allow multiple versions of the same document. In the free plugin, the initial version has no real purpose.

In reply to: [Document Management System] Move Uploaded Files to FolderHello,
Do you mean on the server or via the DMS Plugin interface?
If within the DMS Plugin interface, you can move a folder by going to the folder Options screen, hovering over the Options button, then selecting the Move menu option.
On the server, you have to use whatever interface you have and move the repository from the repository folder to anywhere else on the server. Then, you will need to ensure your web server has read/write privileges on that folder. Finally, you will need to go to the Configuration within the DMS Plugin and change the Document Storage Path.

In reply to: [Document Management System] Can I display docs as a drop-down list?Hello,
With the DMS plugin, you can group documents by keyword and get the groups via the Search feature. However, you cannot get a drop-down list of the documents. This was never considered as there could be hundreds or thousands of documents that match a certain keyword.

Hello,
This problem is hard to duplicate. However, I may have it duplicated as I was finally able to reproduce it. I will be releasing a patch soon.

In reply to: [Document Management System] Does not appear on Dashboard after activationHello,
The installation instructions provide everything you need to configure the plugin and the configuration is done through the main plugin page. The plugin does not need to appear on the Dashboard.

In reply to: [Document Management System] Previously Uploaded Documents Not VisibleHello,
Thank you for the update. Most likely if you do the upgrade again everything will be fine by re-activating the DMS Pro plugin.
If you have any further issues, please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected].

In reply to: [Document Management System] Previously Uploaded Documents Not VisibleHello,
I’ll check the plugin with WordPress 4.6.1. However, I know of no reason that 4.6.1 would not work.
To confirm: The administrators can see the documents but the users cannot even though the permissions are set?

In reply to: [Document Management System] Show date and/or size in overviewHello,
There would have to be some programming changes to pull out the date and size in the tree view.

Hello,
Once the DMS plugin is configured as per the instructions, all uploads, downloads, and other functions are performed from the DMS page you configure in the instructions.
The first uploads and/or folders creation will have to be done by an administrator. Once a folder is created, and permissions are applied to the folder, the user(s) with the proper folder permissions will be able to upload files to the created folder.
