Hi Brady …. I have exactly the same issue. I’ve had my site for about a year https://www.robfellowsreiki.com with most pages having a different custom sidebar. …. and I have nowjust added a blog. I’ve added a new page i.e https://www.robfellowsreiki.com/blog and created a custom sidebar which includes an email capture. For obvious reasons I would like this sidebar to appear on all my posts … but when clicking on the permalink to the post or when on the blog page and clicking on ‘read more’ the custom sidebar is not there and is the default sidebar instead. I’m using a previous version of your plug-in.

I’ve read the advice you gave realramble but I’m not really sure how to go about what you suggest.

Can you help me please?

Thanks I’ve done this …. I didn’t realise the problem was associated with the theme and assumed it was a more general set up problem

Well, with big thanks to Tara and Media X I have now solved the problem. I noticed that a number of my plug-ins had up-dates which I hadn’t installed. So I’ve been through them all and updated, and deactivated a couple that I’m not using …. and phew I’m back working.

Sorry esmi in my ignorance I thought it was a WP issue. I did say in my original post that I’m not a techie … so I find everything a steep learning curve!

Thank you Media X Appreciate your offer of help …. I might well need it. What I find so confusing is that the problem I have is with the basic functionality of WP …i.e media scaling and installing, which isn’t linked to any plug-ins I’ve installed !? Anyway I’m going to try the deactivation advice from Tara and see how I get one. Gulp !! Cheers

I did mention that I’m non techie … so if the first plan fails then I’m stuck as I don’t understand your other suggestions !! I do wish wordpress would leave thinga alone as I get problems every time there is an upgrade!! Thanks again ……
