You might be on to something, I am still on V 7.
And only now I found out I can change it manually, if only you knew how many arguments I have had with my provider asking them to update to newer PHP version….

Should I change to the newest available V 8.2 or what would you suggest?

Ok, so I tested it, and everything works like a charm.
I almost had finished my reply how it doesn’t work, but then thought of testing it again. For my surprise, I wanted to do the testing in the wrong way. I was the only one in the ranking, meaning no other player were participants in pool, and with settings like that, this extension doesn’t work, but when I added my test user to pool thus making ranking with at least two player (me as 1st place, test as 2nd) then everything was fine, so mistake on my side ??

Yes, you got that completely right, it’s for a disadvantage for top players, so others could possibly catch up on final games.
Which ever solution is better, is good by me. As far as you’ve got the idea, I believe you’ll come up with the best solution.

I was too lazy to correct the game time, so you have to do that on your own, also check if there’re any other information you need to change.

As I don’t need it for my self, I didn’t put a lot of effort in it, just know that it took me like ~10mins to do this (by that I wanted to say, that it’s doable, you just need a bit of will)

+ I’ve added – games of 16, quarterfinal, semifinal ect. you have to make those teams as “Not a real team”, so you can change it later to whatever team gets to play those games, or you can just delete them from table, and add later on manually.

Should’ve at least described what it’s supposed to do. I think this might be doable with an extension, you’ll need some basic knowledge of php, sql… in the mean time use as the option @fplnepal mentioned.

5)Ability to change user prediction(without editing DB)

Yeah, this is something I think no one should practice, let the users know that if they miss the time to predict, it’s their loss, and if anyone asks you to change score, just say – nop. Making this kind of add-on wouldn’t be fare for others I guess, in a way. But who am I to judge, we each have our own way of thinking. ??
