I just came here to ask about this exact thing. I have a GF contact form and just noticed that the “From Name” is my email address. I also checked the settings and have the same ones *unchecked* — I had assumed that it would then allow GF to use the “From Name” I had set up in the email notification settings.

On the header. Removing it allowed it to function as needed.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Yoast SEO Changes Page Title to FalseReporting that I am seeing this again, too. I have noticed it on several sites over the years. I also have wondered if it’s related to having a number of ACF fields on the page.
Nevermind. It was a multiple Google account issue.

In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] Taxonomies no longer connected to CPTsOkay, thanks for confirming about the use of “types” and “type.” Whew.
I will reach out to the URE Pro author to see if they are aware of any possible conflict.

In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] Taxonomies no longer connected to CPTsOkay — I should have done this before responding above: On the staging server I deactivated everything but ACF and CPTUI. And then added them back by 3s or so. And, the plugin that breaks it is User Role Editor Pro.
I wonder if they, too, are using slugs in some way — and because of that there’s a conflict?

In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] Taxonomies no longer connected to CPTsThanks for the quick response, Michael.
Yeah, you know, this site was built back in 2013-14 and when I started using CPTUI I guess I was naming CTPs and taxonomies plural at that time. The taxonomy that I was investigating has this slug: publication-types
However, there are two other taxonomies and their slugs are “ceu-type” and “artability_video_category” (they were added probably years apart — you can see the last one had the enforced underscore. And I am seeing the same behavior with these ones.
I just pushed the site to staging and will see what happens when I rename the ones with “type” in them. Okay, nothing changed (still not in the left nav, still says “No tags” in the metabox on the right if I go to add a Publication). I also tried adding a new taxonomy to see if a new one would be added properly, but same situation.
I wonder what else could be causing this?
Also, it worries me a bit that any taxonomy with “type” or “types” might not work properly now — is that what you are saying is true with 1.9.0?
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Redirection] “HTTP redirect status code must be a redirection code, 3xx.”I returned here today because my client notified me of a Google Search Console 5xx error. It turned out to be a redirect created by WordPress (as @mrbum21 is also seeing). When I clicked “Check Redirect” the popup said the following:
Check redirect for: https://www.centrahomes/community/riverwoods-national/ Expected 0 to /community/riverwood-national/ Found: 500 Agent: Not using Redirection Cannot connect to the server to determine the redirect status
I then went in to edit the Redirect and changed the “Group” from “Modified Posts” to “Redirections.” After that, the “Check Status” message is good, I get a 301 and the Agent is “Using Redirection.”
If WordPress already does its own redirection, perhaps it’s best to just not use Redirection for this purpose — does that seems correct? I could uncheck the various boxes I’ve had set in the Redirection settings in the “URL Monitor.” It’s monitoring changes to posts and custom post types.
Thanks.

In reply to: [wp_nav_menu Extended!] Can’t get it to work?Actually, I decided to try it with ‘level’ = 2 and it worked…
wp_nav_menu( array( 'container' => '', 'theme_location' => 'menu-main', 'level' => 2, 'child_of' => 'On Stage', ) );
Why would it have to be 2? I have more levels to display.
I also am still confused about what integer to use for ‘child_of’. Any help would be appreciated!
I did actually check that before — and did again now. There are no errors in the console. I can send you a screencast if you’d like. I will send directly to you.

In reply to: [Redirection] “HTTP redirect status code must be a redirection code, 3xx.”Thanks for confirming re: not needing two redirects.
I just took a fresh copy from production and placed on a staging location. When I deactivate Redirection, this URL (which triggers the 500 when Redirection is active) goes instead to a 404 page:
https://centrahomes.staging.wpengine.com/community/karsten-cove/

In reply to: [Redirection] Sudden problemsI am having the same issue. I copied my site to staging, deactivated all plugins except Redirection, and switched theme to Twenty Twenty. Still seeing it, whether logged in or not.
When I use the “Check Redirect” option from within the Redirection plugin, I get a confirmation (Expected / Found).
Any thoughts?

In reply to: [Redirection] Auto-Loading Blog Posts – RepeatingAnd, yep, you are right. The pages were in there as redirects.
/blog/page/4/
/blog/page/3/
/blog/page/2/were redirecting to /blog/
But why? In the URL monitor I have these checked:
+ Monitor changes to posts
+ Monitor changes to pagesI did not manually add them.
