Make sure to change the password in your DB, update your config.php with the changes.

Also rename your plugins folder temporarily to plugins.bak or something…

I have had many people from several computers try logging in to the wp-admin area. Of course it gets redirected to wp-login. After entering in the information nothing happens. You remain on the page with the info logged in. It’s not catching or something. There are no errors…

We have all tried different browsers, cleaning cache, etc.

Looks like I have upgraded to 2.7 from the looks of the login page. I have tried re-uploading 2.7 files. I have updated the config file with the sample=config info with the proper database info. I have even optimized my tables… just to try anything…

All this with no success.

Anybody else with some advice? I have been unable to get in now for 3 days. Thanks

How can one log into their blog and retake control on an issue like this? As far as I know I may never see the control panel of my wordpress blog again. I think this is a serious issue, and one that should be addressed. If it is already being addressed in another more recent thread I have not found it in the search.

Interesting. I have the same problem except I upgraded from 2.6.5 to 2.7

Is it a permissions issue maybe? No message or error. It just stays on the wp-login page.

I have clean the cache on my browser. How would you clean the cache for the actual blog?

I checked those settings just to double check. Everything is set but for some reason the permalinks won’t redirect when it’s set to automatically update. Must be a bug in it..

I just noticed something weird and maybe it is in the settings but I can’t find it. By default I want the Title to link to the original source. It works when I manually update the feeds. But if I let it go automatically it links to the post’s page on my blog. What’s up with that? IS there a way to have it automatically update and provide the original link back to that site?

All I need is the code to display the Blog Name of the blog in which I syndicated.

This would be the code for the author.

There should be one to display the Blog Name of a syndicated feed. Any ideas? Thanks

Yes I can see it in a browser. I browsed to it and re-pasted it into vbulletin. Maybe it’s vb but it happened right after the upgrade.

Oops found them. I had opened the wrong file. But just to let others know you can find them in 2.7 appearing like this:
