In reply to: The requested URL was rejectedHello, I am having exactly this problem BUT ONLY ON A POST WHICH CONTAINS A LIST OF MORE THAN 5 LINKS.
Any other form of post seems to be no problem at all.
I had the same thing happen to me. It’s because you copied and pasted the shortcode from the developer website and it carried the ‘code’ html tag along with it.
Just go to your page or post, look at it in HTML mode, and then get ride of the
and
tags on either side of your shortcode call.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: The ghostly comment – help!Okay, I did manage to solve this problem. Sadly there wasn’t anything elegant about it, though. I just deleted the post that the comment was associated with, and the pesky little thing disappeared.
Not a smart fix, but an effective one, nonetheless.

In reply to: The ghostly comment – help!Hello Reuben, no it didn’t sound lame. It sounded about my level of tech-savy. I did that, but to no avail.
Hello Duck_boy. Thank you for your suggestion. I have absolutely no idea how to do that! I’m good with css and php but the mysteries of databases elude me.

In reply to: Password Protected page comments link doesn’t workFor some reason, my template, although built to show the comment link on a page, doesn’t allow its activation. The judicious placement of
<?php comments_template(); ?>
solved my problem. Not prettily, but adequately.Thanks and sorry for not digging a little deeper first.

In reply to: Password Protected page comments link doesn’t workHi Micah,
I’d done a little more digging, and realized that it isn’t just on that page that I’m having problems. Let me investigate further and get back to you. Sorry for the bother.Forum: Fixing WordPress
