Problem solved by email. It was not related to Weglot.

Hello,

1. Your email is required to create your account to get an API key and be able to edit translations in your dashboard. Like many other plugins. I’m not sure what the problem is here.

2. If you don’t read description, there is nothing we can do. It’s written on description page of the plugin + on our pricing page on our website + this is the first question on the FAQ.
There is a free plan for small websites under 2000 words (which by the way you maybe within), that many WordPress users are enjoying but we can’t give the product for free with no limitations : We are paying the translations and we are working full time on the product to make it better and support every users.

3. Seriously, a PERSONAL email that is asking you if you need help and if we can give from our time to assist you in any way is spam for you ? Of course there is no unsubscribe button, it is not a newsletter but just a personal email from me to help you.
You could have simply reply to delete your account, I would have been more than happy to do it.

4. Changing email is a feature we’ll add soon, in the meantime we can change it when users ask

Finally, nothing on product / support quality ?
Maybe your comment is a bit disproportionate, as we’re always trying to be the most transparent possible

Our plugin works like many other plugins, on a freemium basis. There is a free plan for small websites under 2000 words, that many WordPress users are enjoying but we can’t give the product for free with no limitations : We are paying the translations and we are working full time on the product to make it better and support every users.

But again, we have a clear pricing on our page : https://weglot.com/pricing that shows our freemium model, and this link is on the description of the plugin. Finally, it is also the first question in our FAQ.

About the sitemap : Yes we don’t add new URL in the sitemap because there is no need.
Google published documentation regarding multilingual SEO : Here

Indeed, what is important is that you indicate the presence of multilingual page by ONE of the two possibilities : hreflang or sitemap.
We chosed hreflang so the user as nothing to do ??
