Dang. Turned on the product search plugin. And same problem.

It populates products from only the first category.

It’s the “woocommerce product search” from the woocommerce store. Although it looks like it’s made by an “itthinx”. So I need to follow up with them?

I took a look at that extension and from its description it sounds like it only applies to sending user notifications.

I don’t see anything that would allow me to adjust out-of-stock threshold so that for item A it shows up in the store as available up until there’s only 1 left in stock, but for item B it stops showing up once it falls to only 3 in stock.

Could you clarify whether “Advanced Notifications” has that capability? Thanks!

Tried uploading twice. The first time it stopped while importing the database at 91%. The second time it finished importing the database but then just span and span for almost an hour. I would try logging back into WP in another window but all URL’s were 500ing.

Turns out that the problem was, in fact, upload_max_filesize. Our server host had our account maxed at 99mb (our upload was 270mb), and even if we rewrote the php.ini within our directory we would still be capped by the server.

Another symptom was that I wasn’t able to successfully create any new pages. I could preview it and it would look good but after publishing it, it wouldn’t pull up like the rest of the pages.

I found that if I changed my settings > permalinks to “Custom Structure” and included the /index.php/ at the start that I can now successfully create pages. But, I still can’t access my old ones.

I just did a find-and-replace in the new database of anything referring to the old URLs and updated them to the new URLs. My homepage now loads all of the pictures that it wasn’t loading earlier. But still 404ing whenever I try to go to any of my pages.

Thanks for knocking a coconut loose. I just had to copy and paste the code from index.php to page.php and its now calling up the template I want every time I create a new page.
