In reply to: [jQuery Manager for WordPress] Way to go! This plugin rocks!I’m so grateful for your in depth review.
If I had more time I would implement more features, the only thing is that I don’t (study/academy and other things). But I’m glad I’m able to help users in this way.
Good luck with everything!Best wishes,
RemziYou’re welcome ??
I’m sorry to hear that you have some difficulties, but I’m pretty sure you will resolves these issue (and along the way you will become better at this).I look forward to your message when you have resolved your issues. If you still feel the need to do this privately (because you told me that the website was sensitive), you can look me up online.
Good luck with your website/project.
Kind regards,
RemziPS: I do know, because with other developers we’re debating what to do next. The WordPress team is backporting security fixes from the newest version of jQuery (3.x) to the much older version/branch of jQuery (1.x). But you can’t change the version dramatically, but you’re right they should change the version number a bit to show other users and devs that it’s a custom/patched version. For example: jQuery 1.12.4-wp1 or 1.12.5 or something.

In reply to: [jQuery Manager for WordPress] Plugin causes header text to jump sidewaysI’m not allowed to post my e-mail address per WP Forum Rules, it’s even not allowed to asked for an e-mail address (but I personally don’t mind).
However on my WordPress profile there is a link to my GitHub profile (Remzi1993) where you will find an e-mail address.
I’m sorry in advance, but I need to point this out. I was almost banned for not abiding by the plugin and forum rules and it was my last strike, so if I do something which is against the rules, I will have serious consequences. So again, I’m sorry that I need to cite this. This is not personally against you or something, I just want to cover all the bases before a mod does something.

The Bad Stuff… #
We need to keep the forums friendly, so, occasionally, topic content will be moderated. In severe cases, users may be blocked. This might mean anything from the light editing of some posts to complete removal of topics and deactivation of accounts. It should really go without saying, but the following are likely candidates for moderation or intervention- Do not post email addresses, ask others to post their email or solicit contacting people off of the forums.
- Do not post login information, even test IDs and test passwords.
- Do not post simply to request feedback on their site.
- Do not post another person’s private information (job, gender, living situation, location, etc).
- Do not ask for any kind of access in order to provide support, not even for plugins or themes.
- Do not harass or abuse people. Do not go to their websites, do not pick out their home addresses, phone numbers, Twitter ID, Skype ID, Facebook, any social media accounts or ways to contact them and use it to ask for support. Only use contact methods explicitly given.
- Do not abuse the ‘Report this topic’ or ‘modlook’ system.
- Do not post spam and affiliate links, offensive posts, posts without content, or flames.
- Do not post in all caps.
- Do not ask for help regarding premium themes/plugins.
- Do not abuse the @<name> mentions, they are not a tool to get faster responses.
- Do not seek legal advice on the forums: We are not lawyers, and if we were we would then open our selves to liabilities.
Please note that this list is not exhaustive. Every post is judged on its own merits.
And that’s all. Enjoy your stay at the forums! Oh.. And, when you’re done, please mark your topic as “Resolved”. Thanks.
Again, I’m required to do this. If you need any assistance seek me out trough the proper channels or find me on GitHub, Twitter or LinkedIn. See my WordPress profile for more information.
Kind regards,

Could you please answer my question? If I don’t get any answer I will assume that you have solved your issue or don’t need my assistance/help.
That would be unfortunate, because maybe I could fix the issue with the booking system (Bookly) or point out bugs to my fellow web developers which will help all users by the way.
I hope you will write me the url, so I could debug this matter in depth, I like to help people and all users in general.
Kind regards,
RemziHi Peter,
I could take a look at your website/specific URL. In this way I could check why it didn’t work in the first place and improve the plugin. (I have helped some other users and even developers this way to catch bugs)
Unfortunately there is no option to turn the plugin on or off on a specific page, also this option will not be implemented, because it should be a simple plugin while giving users the option to select the specific version of jQuery they desire.
Kind regards,

In reply to: [jQuery Manager for WordPress] jQuery UI integration?Hi @presskopp
Do you mean an option to enable/activate this or to have this enabled by default?
I don’t know if this is a populair library people use. I don’t have much time, but maybe you could contribute?Feel free to send me a pull request on GitHub: https://github.com/Remzi1993/jquery-manager

Thank you for your effort, is your problem solved now?
I have considered to load jQuery from https://code.jquery.com but due to GDPR and other privacy regulations I didn’t do this in the first iteration / version.Maybe a future version / release I will add some CDN options.
PS: Maybe you should notify the developers of the plugin that there is a bug / issue.

I’m very busy this week, I may have only time this weekend.
Could you do me a favor and disable everything except your theme, child theme, and the jQuery Manager plugin.Update jQuery Manager to the latest version. check if your website works as expected.
If it is, enable your plugins one by one until it doesn’t. In this way, you will find the culprit. It could be that one plugin is forcing jQuery some other way. You need to find out which one, I could this for you, but right now I don’t have time. If you want me to do a thoroughly debugging you will have to wait this weekend.
Kind regards,
RemziPS: If you disabled everything except your theme, child theme, and jQuery Manager and the plugin couldn’t activate an other version of jQuery than there is something strange happing in the theme.

Could you give me some more information?
– Which version of WordPress do you use?
– Which plugins have you installed?
– And which theme do you use?I will look into the matter, but you will need to give me some time. It looks like a complex situation you have got yourself into.
I will try to replicate your situation and check what I could do.
Kind regards,

I see that all assets are loaded from the cache, do you use a caching plugin, for example, Autoptimize, WP Fastest Cache, W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache?
You will need to delete the cache if you change something on your website.
Could you try again? Also, some themes or plugins could include a jQuery version or force this. I’m developing a feature to deactivate and force the plugins jQuery version, but this is still in early development. It’s already late where I live so if you reply I will respond tomorrow.
Have a nice day / good night.Kind regards,

In reply to: [jQuery Manager for WordPress] jQuery is not defined atHi @marius84
I see that you’re also using Autoptimize:
I refer you to this ticket: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/issue-with-slider-revolution/
You should exclude jQuery being defered, Autoptimize uses the WordPress core path to jQuery to exclude. Manually add the path to JQuery file.
wp-content/plugins/jquery-manager/assets/js/jquery-3.4.1.min.js
