Thanks Mahbubur,
I’ll let you know when the indicated process is completed.
I have not used the WPUF license key because I am developing in a temporal site, I should first migrate to the definitive server.Hello JJJ,
Once you have created global product attributes you will see that type of fields in the right panel of form creator, ready to drag and drop into your form. The same with product categories.Cheers, René.
I appreciate your quick answer, but I have to say that I don’t believe you addressed my questions. You wrote: “You can update the free version automatically from wp-admin plugins section”… But the problem I posed is that I can not. I’m receiving the message “Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin”. Please see attached screenshot.
Thanks.
Thanks very much for your answer.
I was waiting to update to 2.5.4 because I saw some traffic in the forum about issues with the new version. Today I tried to update, but after introducing the Elegant Themes API Key (which was requested) I got the following message:
“There is a new version of WP User Frontend available. View version 2.5.4 details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin“. If I go to “details” a blank window open.I understand that I don’t need to introduce the WPUF plugin license key yet because I am developing in a provisional site. And also because what I am trying to update is the basic version not the pro.
How should I proceed? I don’t want to lose my designed forms and configuration.
Here is a screen shot showing the polluted attributes.
Those numbers, “60” in attribute “País”, and “20”, “72” in attribute “Sector” appeared into the list of terms when publishing posts we have previously saved as drafts.
Those numbers correspond to term IDs (of the underlined terms). It seems IDs are being saved instead of term names.
I hope this help in clarifying my previous inquire.
Greetings: René.
Today we noticed that numbers get added to the attribute terms when we “Save draft”, not when Published directly (using submit button).
René.
In the product form settings: Post Type = Published, Saving as Draft enabled.
I set up a hook which allow me to show the SUBMIT button only to admin and “Editors” while user with other roles only see “Save Draft” link. That has been working fine.
Please note that the appearance of spurious numbers in the lists of attribute terms does not always happen but occasionally, I have not been able to detect under what circumstances.
What is worse, once these numbers appear into your list, it doesn’t matter what attribute value you choose, they are not saved when creating or updating products, only the number in the top of the list is saved to data base.
??
Greetings: René.
Does someone in this forum know how to use WPUF “Hidden Fields”?
What to enter in the “Meta Key” and “Meta Value” of the hidden field?
How to relate this special type of field with the real field one wants to hide?
I am completly confused with the hints (“?”) given in the form creator.I appreciate any help. (and I imagine that colegue Filipec too)
Greetings: René.
As mentioned, products marked as “hidden” are nonetheless shown to the user. Now, I noticed that they would become really hidden only after you edit the product using wp-dashboard.
Regards, René.
But, that is not the purpose of that checkbox!
I’m having the same problem. It seems a conflict with the naming of pages: “edit” WPUF page conflicts with WP admin area “edit”.What I have to do to edit my pages is go to Pages– >All pages and use the “edit” link of the particular page.
I have not been able to set up a hidden field.
One reads in the doc: “Hidden Field: This custom field lets you create hidden fields that only the admin or form creator can view and hidden from users”.OK. I created a text area field, lets name it “XXX”; its meta key is “xxx”; next I added a hidden field with Meta Key = xxx. I have no idea about what to put in Meta Value of hidden field, I left it blank.
If I write something in my XXX text area, no one sees it, nor the user, neither admin.
My intention is to hide from the user what is typed in XXX field, but let admin to be able to read it.If I do put some text in hidden field Meta Value, that (fixed) text will be shown to both admin and users in all posts.
Greetings: René.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Displaying product idHi Lorro,
I adapted and paste your code into “My Custom Functions” plugin, and everything ran smoothly.
I appreciate your help:
René.Exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks.Hello, I Found a solution.
Instead of going to the search result page with https://mysite.com/attribute-slug/attribute-term/ I copied the URL used by the search widget: https://mysite.com/shop/?filtering=1&filter_attribute-slug=attribute-term
I mentioned that solutions just in case someone have a simnilar problem.
Greetings: René.
