Hi @acqua,
I see you’ve submitted a support ticket for this privately.
For the benefit of the community, I’d like to share that this a shortcode from the source URL site and would need Feed to Post’s Extraction Rules to remove this.
Here is a KB-Article link to the specific feature – https://kb.wprssaggregator.com/article/312-how-to-set-up-feed-to-posts-extraction-rules
This support forum is for questions related to the FREE CORE version of WP RSS Aggregator only.

Hi @jookco,
The plugin imports all available feed items from the feed source URL and whatever available limit the feed source provides.
You can set up a limit to only pull X amount of Feed Sources, and pull in at specific intervals to make sure you get the latest feed updates.
Please see the following KB Article on how to set interval updates for best performance: https://kb.wprssaggregator.com/article/200-scheduling-fetching-of-feeds-imports-for-better-performance
No, the site has unique permalinks on it and would only import to that specific site.
For more information on multisite licensing, please see: https://kb.wprssaggregator.com/article/371-q-is-wp-rss-aggregator-compatible-with-wordpress-multisite
Hi @neerlandistiek,
The feed is valid, so you may try using a User Agent such as “WordPress” in the User-Agent field to see if this allows import.
Please see the following KB Article for more information: https://kb.wprssaggregator.com/article/136-failed-to-fetch-feed
You can rollback to a previous version of the plugin here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-rss-aggregator/advanced/
Just select the version from the drop-down at the bottom of the page and download the zip folder of the selected version.
Hi @greencrest
Could you please share the feed source so we can test this? You may also validate your feed here:https://validator.w3.org/feed/ and then you can check the actual number of feed items by visiting the feed source URL itself to see if it has more than 15 items in the feed source version XML.
Hi @garethevans2015,
As far as the feed is concerned, the limit should be counting from the date and time it was imported in.
Hi @spisbell,
If you are using Post Types and filtering by categories, you may be using one of our add-ons, as the Core Plugin only imports the feed source as Feed Item Lists.

Hi @kanistraki,
This is not the normal behavior of the Core plugin.
Please test for the theme and plugin as described here for any conflitcs causing this.
Hi @boyansharic,
Is this content being imported in? If so, you may be using one of our add-ons, as the Core Plugin only imports the feed source as Feed Item Lists.

@selander Thanks for sharing that with the community.
We have rolled back the plugin version, so this should resolve the issue for now
Hi, were you able to use the suggested RSS FEED: https://www.usccb.org/bible/readings/rss/daily.xml for your site instead?
This is a valid feed source for the site: https://www.usccb.org/bible/readings/050319.cfm
Hi @tdgoddard,
Sorry to hear the time of the imported feed items are offset now once you upgraded.
Can you both please confirm the following:
– Are you using any of our premium add-ons on these sites?
– Do you know what the exact error was? (can be found using WP_DEBUG or checking with your hosting provider)Can you please also confirm which PHP version is being used on your site?
If you need to temporarily use an older version, please click here, scroll down to the bottom of the page content and select 4.12.3 from the PREVIOUS VERSIONS section.
Quick follow-up, we have addressed this in the upcoming version, and the latest update for the next version will fix this.
