Yes, some have different opening times for different days of the week and some open twice per day. It is going to be really difficult!!

OK, I’ think I’ve solved it.

I added auto to margin in body:

body {
font: 75%/150% Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color: #333333;
background: #FFFFFF url(images/main-bg.gif);
margin: 0px auto; /* added auto to combat not centering in IE */
padding: 0px;
}

Don’t quite understand why it happened, but it works ok in IE7 now. Will try with IE6 later.

Installing v2.5.1 in full has solved the problem. All seems to be working great.

I couldn’t use the bottom of the sidebar in your dark theme. It wouldn’t scroll, and wouldn’t fit on a 1280 by 800 screen.

Other that – great!

You’ll want to wipe content off your old blog, as Google penalises duplicate content. It will take time for Google to pick up all your posts, sometimes weeks. PageRank only updates every couple of months. I think there’s an update planned in about a month.

You can help it along, by opening an account with Google Webmaster Tools, and uploading a sitemap. Get the WordPress plugin google sitemap generator, which automatically generates a new sitemap everytime you post, and pings all the major search engines when your site is updated.

If I post every day, google picks up my new posts immediately, which is amazing really.

Just a quick comment, on your species list, I was expecting to be able to click on the individual insects, and be taken to the photos. Maybe you haven’t got round to doing that yet?

Not sure if I like the fixed footer. It put me off and seemed to get in the way. There’s nothing on it really that needs to be seen all the time.

Your sidebar font colour (light grey) is very similar to your background (white), so you cannot see the writing very well. It also looks like you don’t want people to click on it as it gave me the impression it had been “greyed out”.

Looks OK. The only thing to point out is that the bottom border of the footer is missing.
