it could be that the image has the title on it….are you sure you’re modifying h1?

yep. it usually only takes a few seconds. To be honest I really don’t know.

Just check one more time to make sure you have your directory writable, the write username and password for mysql, the right version of mysql, etc. if all of that’s right, then try downloading a fresh copy of wordpress, or even got with a slightly earlier version. ya never know. I personally have never (in installing wordpress a good 15-25 times) had a problem like that.

The best solution is to call it “themename” reloaded. That way you get credit for what you did, but the creator gets credit for the code base. I can take a theme and change it into anything I want, but when it comes to coding from scratch I can’t do nearly as much, which is why I always start off with a template, and build up from there. If nothing else, I tend to steal stuff like the loop from kubrick

I just ditched cats for UTW because of it’s functionality. categories are fine, but if you’d rather post on tons of different topics without worrying about crowding the sidebar, tags are good

go to yoursite.com/wp-admin/profile.php

uncheck the “Use the visual rich editor when writing” at the bottom and save. You’ll have to do your own HTML, but at least it will be working HTML

never heard of that. Have you tested another browser to see if it’s a safari problem?
