Hi kayacanakin,
Thanks for this great feedback ??
I think if you want to impose a limitation on uploading the pictures, it should not be located in the resmush.it plugin, but rather in the WP admin interface. If you want to avoid your final users to uplaod very big pictures, several ways :
– use the PHP max_upload_filesize instruction and set it to, let’s say 2MB
– place some code in your WP such as https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/228300/set-limit-to-media-uploadFor further explanations to your final user, it would require to override some WP core templates. Maybe a good Instruction Manual should be enough ?? ?

CharlesHi mochilerotai,
This is a quite strange issue :/
Have a look at the following link, it may help : https://errorcodespro.com/how-to-fix-chromes-err_spdy_protocol_error/
I think it’s not directly due to the plugin.Keep us posted ??
CharlesThanks for your support !

CharlesHi Teja,

CharlesHi guys,
You should normally have errors.
1/ Check in your browser Console (by typing F12) to view if there’s any Javascript Error
2/ Check your PHP Error log (see your hosting provider), there should be something wrong.Report these errors to this thread, we’ll try to help !
Cheers,
CharesHi Skrabbel,
Thanks for using our plugin. You have such error when the file requested is missing. Generally, it has been remove by error directly on the server, but is still referenced in WordPress.

CharlesHi,
Thanks for using our plugin.
Have something wrong in your PHP files or in your Browser Console (Type F12, then Console (for Google Chrome))?Best regards,
CharlesHi Remonas,
Thanks for using our plugin. It seems that you have a file missing or which has been deleted manually. Hence, it cannot stat it ??

CharlesHi @atomicsmash,
I’m not sure I understand your issue. We tried to optimize your picture using our API : https://api.resmush.it/ws.php?img=https://atomicsmash-725c.kxcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/backup_strategy_wysiwyg.gif your picture is already ok, there’s nothing particular to optimize in this case.
Best regards,
CharlesHi @cheonmu,
Thanks for using our plugin, maybe you have a large bunch of pictures, so you should wait a little bit more.
Anyway, if it’s still stuck, check in your browser console or PHP Error file if you have any error reported.Best regards,
CharlesHi Mike,
Unforunately, resmush.it is incompatible with S3 media files management, but we’re working on featuring a new plugin for resmush.it which will support S3 natively.
Keep posted!

CharlesHi Dragon,
It seems that you have a file missing, try to reinstall the plugin, it should works normally.

CharlesHi Fredisco,
The Media Library Assistant plugin may be the cause of such behavior as it seems to manipulate the Images attachments.

CharlesHi Candyg333,
Thanks for using our plugin. The time to optimize your pictures seems to be normal. In reality, you have more than 1885 images to optimize. As they exist in various sizes (called attachments), you may have around 10K of pictures to optimize, which could take a while ??
You can optimize your pictures in several times if you want, just go back to the optimization page and relaunch the bulk optimization, it will indicate 0%, but it will consider pictures already optimized.
For your errors, it seems that some pictures files are missing. They’re declared in your Media Library, but the file has been manually deleted.
Cheers,
Charles
PS .: Do not hesitate to rate our plugin if you liked it ??Hi fredisco,
It seems that you’re not using the WordPress Attachment file mechanism, have you disabled/replaced the media library or used a different Image management system ?
Best regards,
Charles
