CharlesHi Terence,
It’s probably due to server issues we’ve had, it should be better right now, there’s apparently nothing you can do in you side to speed up the process.
Keep us in touch,
CharlesWe’re experiencing some issues with our servers, it should be better right now. We’re working on fixing it definitely.

CharlesHi @andersi913,
The restore backup function should work quite efficiently. However, this is the safest way to do it, and you can try to relaunch the process several times, it won’t start from beginning, but it’ll continue the restoration.
What’s the size of your Media library (number of pictures approx?)Regards,
CharlesHi @macksix,
We’ve had a pretty big issue on our server backend, which implied service unavailability. The server health is getting better right now.
Best regards,
CharlesThe plugin has been updated, and the compatibility with WP 5.8.2 has been tested ??
Kind regards,
CharlesHi @zotezo
Sorry for this late reply. It depends of the bandwidth of your server. But you have a lot of attachment to optimize (more than 30K images!), so it’s “normal” that it takes time.
For such big media libraries, we encourage to use the cron method to optimize your pictures in background, otherwise, it will take a while !
Cheers,
CharlesHi @saronitz
If seems really strange. Try to uninstall/reinstall the whole plugin. It seems a file is missing_
Cheers,
CharlesThe plugin will not handle roles natively, but you can provide permissions that allows editors to use our plugin.
I think you will have to install an additional plugin to do that.
Cheers,
CharlesHi @whisperwow
I think your command line is incorrect. At first sight, it should be
cd /home/domainin/public_html/;/usr/local/bin/php -q wp-cron.php >/dev/null 2>&1
Let us know if it’s fixed right now.
Cheers,
CharlesHi @tomowow
You have a button in the plugin to restore the whole library. It will restore all the pictures as before the plugin installation (if the “preserve backup” option was checked).
Cheers,
CharlesIt preserve a file named yourimage-unsmushed.jpg in your media library. The plugin is able to restore your whole library as it was BEFORE the plugin installation.
Hope it helps ??
Cheers,
Charles
