There’s no exclusion by filetype, but you can disable the optimization on some pictures by checking the option “disable optimization for this image”.
We hope it will help!
Kind regards,
CharlesFeel free to review our plugin if you liked it : https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/resmushit-image-optimizer/reviews/
Hi @a4jpcom
Thanks for this request. Anyway we haven’t provided any way of doing this, and to be honest, we won’t plan to do this, as we want to preserve the WP interface as simple as possible, without providing thousands options.
However, we hope that our plugin is bringing you full satisfaction.
Best regards,
CharlesHi @andersi913,
Why do you want to disable optimization if all pictures have already been optimized ?
When you run the optimization process, it won’t reoptimize already optimized pictures.Cheers,
CharlesHi @bboynotime
The plugin is fully compatible with the latest WP version. We’ll provide an update soon.

CharlesHi @kajanocha,
thanks for this review. We’ve provided all answers concerning GDPR in the following thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/urgent-processing-personal-data/
Cheers,
CharlesHi @kajanocha
There’s strictly no personal data collected or used or stored by the plugin. The plugin and service are both totally free of any data collection and are GDPR compliants.
The optimized images are stored only for 15 minutes on our servers to ensure that our customers can retrieve their pictures. Then, all pictures are automatically deleted, and there’s no exploitation of these pictures in the meantime.
I hope it was what you expected.
Also thanks a lot for your review.

CharlesHi @rubenvankempen,
Depending on your hosting provider, they normally provide you some “Logs”. Ask them or in your customer panel, you may have these accesses.
Cheers,
CharlesOK! Thanks for the feedback.
Cheers,
CharlesThanks @macksix, it has been corrected on our website!
Sorry for this very late reply, I suppose the whole process is stucked, and maybe you should have a PHP error in your Log files. If so, please feel free to copy/paste these errors in this thread, we’ll try to help.

CharlesHi @emresert86 ,
Sorry for this very late reply. You have an option on the admin page to remove backup files. Just check “Do not preserve backup” and you will have a new option to remove all your backup files.
Hope you like our plugin ??
Cheers,
CharlesHi @giangel84
Unfortunately not, as a media can be used by several content types. We advice you to set a good image quality (between 80-95) to provide a good image size and a good image quality.
Cheers,
CharlesHi @eddiernaranjo,
The plugin reduces the size of the original files and of resized images, but it preserves a backup of the original file you’ve uploaded.
The Remove backup option, will delete this backup, so you’ll have ONLY optimized versions. We advice you to run only one image optimizer on your website, we would not be responsible for any conflict between them.

CharlesHi @gissagiswara,
According to log files, it seems to run fine. Do you still have this issue?
Cheers,
CharlesAs I said in this thread : https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/ssl-error-38/, we’ve fixed this error this week, there was a misconfiguration on our side. It shouldn’t appear again.
Sorry for this!
Cheers,
Charles
