I have never used this plugin so I can not tell you how well it works, but you could try it out in a dev environment for a while and see how it goes.

In reply to: WordPress Multisite Network DatabaseHi bergerrj,
Both options you listed are possible though adding another multisite would make a quite a bit more work for you. I would start with using a using a good database cleaner plugin in order to keep it as efficient as possible.
Here is an article that might be a good place for you to start.

In reply to: Table problems with wp ecommerceHi padmin84,
If you use a commercial theme or plugin and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

In reply to: Multisite wordpress automatic update failedHi mintu5716,
I’m going to need a little more information in order to help you. Could you tell me
1. Were you on the network site when you attempted to update?
2. Did you attempt to update through the update page on the menu?
3. What did it say when the update failed? Thanks, your answers can get me a lot closer to knowing what went wrong.

Would you mind marking this thread “Resolved”? I can not do it and it will allow this thread to be closed.
Thanks,
restezedigitalHi mkthefeathers,
Let’s start with the plugin, have you tried to install it manually? Upload the file to your server using FTP, unzip the file and move it to /wp-content/plugins/
When I tried to access https://www.thefeathers.in/bluecubedev/ it was unavailable. When you deleted the site, did you deactivate all the installed plugins on that site before deleting it?
If you did this then you may need to remove the site manually, but try that first.

In reply to: Sub Domain QueryOh, one other thing I forgot to mention is that modern SEO thinking is that sub-directories are the best way to go if you are looking to raise SEO by piggy-backing on each other’s success.

In reply to: Sub Domain QueryHi fertilefrog,
Multisite is used as a solution when you have multiple websites and want an easier way to administer them. With WPMU there is only one WordPress install and the other sites are virtual. They all run off of the same core installation and database, but each new site is given a user id number and all of that site’s data is stored under its user id.
In your case, it would be easier to administer all three sites from one network admin, but adding multisite to a site that’s up and running can be a little tricky. Make sure that you backup everything very carefully before you do anything else. Then I would recommend that you read these pages and their relevant links thoroughly before you proceed.

https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/ultimate-guide-multisite/Hello mkthefeathers,
I’m sorry to hear that you are having these issues. May I ask please are you on the network site when you try to add/delete the plugin or add/delete the site?
I ask this because on a multisite install the network site is like the boss. You have to go to the boss to get things done. On the network site, you can create and delete new sites. A plugin or theme must also first be installed on a network site and then it will be available for use on a subsite. Does this make sense?
Here’s an excellent article on everything you need to know about WPMU https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/ultimate-guide-multisite/
I hope this helps

In reply to: WordPress multisite domain mapping redirect loop in frontendHi hootproof, have you tried defining ‘ABSPATH’ ?
/* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */ /** Absolute path to the WordPress directory. */ if ( !defined('ABSPATH') ) define('ABSPATH', dirname(__FILE__) . '/'); /** Sets up WordPress vars and included files. */ require_once(ABSPATH . 'wp-settings.php');

In reply to: All photos suddenly "kicked out" through out site.Hello SUPenthusiast, I’m sorry that you are having problems displaying you images. When I visited your website I noticed two things.
1. Some of your images are displaying. Have you tried clearing your browser and CDN cache?
2. Your SSL certificate is installed incorrectly.
If you look in the left-hand corner of your website you will notice that the green lock symbol is not lit up. Do not trust that any site is protected if the green lock symbol is not lit up.
I would suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the SSL certificate. Your host should be able to help you with this if you need it.
Then if some of the images are still not displaying, try checking to see if the links are correct for each image. This can be done by hovering over the image and checking the link that displays in the lower left corner.
